I don't think I've ever had something from JDs that I didn't like. The food is always fresh and delicious. We've used them for catering also and I was impressed with their pricing and options. Tables are always full and staff is always friendly. Quality is consistent. My favorite is constantly changing but my family loves the BLK and the patsy.

This is a fantastic deli. The selection is phenomenal. The food is all tasty and fresh. They have a lot of turnover so their cold cuts are always fresh. Today I got the DJ - turkey, avocado, tomato, mixed greens, herb mayo on multigrain bread. It did not disappoint. The bread was soft and yummy. You can taste the herbs in the mayo. Tomato and greens were crisp and not wilted at all. All do the sandwiches come with a very generous pile of potato chips and a pickle spear. If you want you can sub in carrot and celery sticks - which I did. It's a nice option. They have a lovely area with tables to eat in. I had envy today when I saw a bowl of delicious looking steel cut oatmeal heaping with berries, raisins, nuts and granola go out. I wanted that! And the graham cracker and cinnamon bun coffee flavors in the urns also tempted me but unfortunately i had already had more than enough coffee for the rest of the world to deal with today. I don't live in the area so I only get here when I come for my haircut nearby. But I do was closer because I would be here all the time!

JD’s Taylor ham egg cheese HB patty sandwich (called the Braves) is the BEST Taylor ham sandwich in North Jersey. Staff are incredibly nice, welcoming and hard working. I always feel welcomed and it’s like Cheers, everyone knows your name. Fantastic family atmosphere on the weekends. Their sandwiches are top notch (love the Liberty too.) Highly recommend JD’s for breakfast and/or to dine-in or for take out.

I usually order the tuna fish over a house salad. Food isn't bad and has almost a homie feeling to it. Young staff are friendly but beware of the older blonde because she's not so nice. I would recommend giving it a try if you're into deli foods.

Small sitting area pretty busy place, ordered a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and a medium coffee, they both were good, bagels could be improved considering they are in North Jersey.
