On May 5th. I attended a birthday party for 25 guests. The service was almost NONEXISTENT. Two servers for the entire 2nd floor. Ordering drinks was futile… coffee was not served until we approached then for the third time. No cream or sugar was put on the table so I had to get it myself. Big disappointment for my friend who had to pay for this extremely bad service. Also, an extension cord on the floor, attached to the BUFFET table, was a tripping hazard ( yes, I tripped). I can’t blame the two servers who were there. No way could they do a job that should have been done by 8 or more employees. I Blame management!

Great ? ? ? Vibes the food is good , the service is average at best unless the manager is pouring ? ? ? ? ? yourdrink at the bar. Which in my case was single malt or blended 12 year old or more scotch for me and Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon Wine ? ? ? ☺️ ? ? for my wife. He gave us generous pours ? ? ✌️ ? cheers to him. One Friday a month the have a DJ. he isgood, the Vibes are exceptional when he spins.

Hosted the best bridal shower here! Marcelo was helpful and easy to get a hold of with any of my random questions leading up to the event. We were able to get their early and set up. We were in the library with 29 guests and it was a perfect intimate setting. The servers were proactive and kept everything moving smoothly. Food was delicious. We had enough space for a backdrop, dessert table, game table, gift table, and welcome table. Atmosphere was great! HIGHLY reccomend!!

We had the after wedding reception at Portobello last year. The place is majestic and huge with all the decors. It has the same vibe as Tuscany. The food portion is big but it could have been better if it's more savory. The servers are good and attentive. Very helpful. We will try to there again.

Good food. Too noisy though. Go at an off time if you don't like noise.Vegetarian options: I'm a vegetarian. Never had a problem there.

We had our Easter brunch here and as soon as we arrived entering the door we were rushed a Happy Easter by several employees. A very welcome start to our meal. The buffet was set up and we were eating within minutes of getting our table. For the most part the waiters were on top of asking us if we needed anything although there was a period of time that we had to ask three times to get refills on a drink. The buffet that was set up had a nice variety of food for anyone to find just what they would enjoy. I was able to go up and find a selection of varied items each time and enjoyed them.Tables were set up with plenty of room between them to give an atmosphere of enjoyment rather than crowdedness. We have no problem finding a parking space either. When we entered there was plenty of parking and when we left there was still plenty of room.#Portobello #buffet #EasterbrunchParking: Parking is located past the front entrance.

Terrible experience!!! If I could give this place negative stars, it would without a doubt deserve it. Any dining patron would admit that the experience starts with the reservation, especially if one is required. We made reservations over a week in advance for Easter Sunday. We arrived with my family that included my 93 yr old father and 11 month old son. Upon arriving, we were told we weren’t on the list and we must have a reservation at their banquet hall across the street. Mind you, at least 4 other groups/families were told the same thing. So, we packed everyone back up and headed over. We get there and they don’t seem to have our reservation either. I was very specific about having a 93 yr old with us and a baby. I had spelled my name and confirmed the day and time, yet they had nothing on a holiday event. The one manager said he would check for availability and went upstairs. Upon seeing the stairs, I asked if there was an elevator since our 93 yr old would not be able to make it up a long flight of stairs. The answer was “no”. What kind of a public restaurant does not provide for the elderly or handicapped? We waited and the useless manager never returned. Upon being disgusted by this and utterly disappointed, we found out that two other families behind us had the same issue. No reservation after calling and making one. The one group had family visiting from Connecticut. How embarrassing and unprofessional. Needless to say, we found a different restaurant that was flawless and very accommodating. We will NEVER trust Portabellos for any event or future experience.
