Fantastic authentic Mexican food. One of our favorites restaurants to visit in OCNJ!

Food was fresh and delicious! Enjoyed the poke bowl. A nice change from boardwalk food!

Came to Ocean City for vacation and found this place on Google maps next to my rental. My 2 kids couldn't get enough of the tacos here. We all enjoyed our meals. Going back next year. Staff was great and the food was deliciouse. What more could you ask for?

Literally life changing. I consider myself a Mexican food connoisseur, Came here for the first time while on vacation absolutely no complaints. Nachos as appetizer, easily 8.9 rating, southwest taco salad with a side of rice added in, i wouldn't change a single thing about it and rate it 9.1 service was awesome many people came to check on us!! Cannot wait to come back again :)

Great spot. So delicious I had to leave my first Yelp review. Everything is great about this place. Nachos and soup were excellent and the taquitos were amazing as well. Would have loved to if left a picture of the amazing meal but it was to good to last for a pic. Excellent food and service. Nice outside eating area. Just an overall vibe. 10/10

Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Get the loaded nachos! My only gripe is they barely gave us any "salsa" with the nachos and our tacos (about a tsp size serving for 3 tacos). I asked for some extra and got charged for it! The side of rice/beans is also a very small serving. The employees were very accommodating and friendly. No kids menu.

The workers were very kind, nice, and tried to be attentive despite looking either understaffed or newly operated. The food however, was very average. Two of my friends and I ate here for dinner. Two of us got tacos and one got a burrito. The tacos came with a side of refried beans, rice and salsa. The rice I assume was supposed to be Spanish rice but lacked flavor besides watery tomato? My friend who got the carne asada came with some tomato based sauce but it honestly tasted like tomato soup out of a can. She enjoyed her tacos though. I got the Al pastor taco. It was okay, bland in flavor, hot sauce is a necessity if you're ordering the tacos. There is not much depth. The chilango burrito was okay, it was remarked as bland as well. The specialty drinks (frozen/blended) looked delicious--although I did not order them. Not sure how it compares to other Mexican places in OC..

Fantastic meal! Everything we ordered was great, tuna poke bowl, mussels, truffle fries and Jardin salad. Will definitely be back!

Tried, when I say tried I mean that exactly. This has to be the most unorganized restaurant I have ever been to. The servers ( I assume that's what they are) walk past you without giving any instructions on how to order or get a table. Here's a hint, let people know there is no table service, it's more like you have to figure it out. I would hesitate to say there is any "service" here, more like every man for himself. Probably will not give it another chance, too bad, OC could always use another restaurant.

Welcomed authentic Mexican concept on North end of OC. The food is good and menu has a great mix of options. Biggest problem is they're never open. Very inconsistent hours. Do not trust the posted hours on the website as they've been wrong more times than not. I'm sure this is due to lack of staff but we want to support this place because it's good but that's hard when we consistently strike out on them being open.

This is our first time at Agave and it certainly won't be our last. We were there this past Sunday evening and they were very busy, but the wait staff did a fantastic job getting people seated quickly. We can't say enough about the staff; they were friendly, attentive, gracious and very accommodating. As for the food, it was top notch. Everything was fresh, hot and extremely flavorful. We started with the chips and salsa appetizer which was very good. We especially liked the salsa verde and cheesy sauce. For our meals, my wife went with the Southwest Bowl Salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. It came loaded with grilled chicken and the other ingredients were plentiful. I chose the mahi mahi fish tacos which were absolutely dynamite!!! I could go for some right now. We live about 4 blocks from Agave and it will definitely be a frequent stop for us from now on.

We got takeout for 8 people and everything was delicious. My husband had a burrito and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Ahi tuna poke bowl and it was awesome! The staff was nice and it was easy to order and it was also reasonably priced!

We've eaten at Agave 3 times. Food taste has always been fantastic, but on our 3rd trip, the food was not hot when served, neither soup nor tacos. Nonetheless, we'll probably eat there one more time before making decision to stop
