“My husband and I were here for the Doo Dah Parade, and the woman at the front desk of our hotel recommended Yianni's. Wow! We were impressed. The pita and hummus (deliciously garlicky) were amazing! Our meals were fantastic and a good portion. You can't go wrong here, yum!!!”

“The single best place to grab breakfast, lunch, brunch , coffee , latte , cider , and or sandwich on a cold winter day in NJ. Getting sat on that cool looking second floor was a nice lil bonus. That hot apple cider with ginger lemon nutmeg and cinnamon.. could live off of that alone. My wife's Cinnabon latte was massive and delicious. So many more varieties to try.... Thinking about that cheesecake one. We arrived too late for the breakfast menu but damn that corned beef special was stacked !!! Great service. Happy shiny people holding hands !!”

“Having grown up just a couple of blocks from Positively, I would have been in this place every day if it was around back then. It has a nostalgic feel that’s very comforting. Very fitting name! Great, relaxing, quiet atmosphere with a hint of some Grateful Dead jams playing in the distance. I love all of the plants and artwork. Great friendly service and delicious coffee too. Didn’t eat anything this time but I’ll be back.”

“Place is great! Owner is super nice and the employees are very nice as well. The first night we stayed in town the line was halfway down the block. So we waited until the next night to try. I got the peanut butter wipeout. I was very skeptical with cereal in ice cream. But it was awesome! Every bite had little pieces in and was great tasting! I will definitely be back next year! “First time coming across this gem. Came in as they were closing, grabbed a slice of cheesecake & cannoli. Both were phenomenal!!! As may girlfriend and I were outside eating our desserts, the man (I’m assuming the owner, I didn’t catch his name)was closing up shop and gave us a loaf of seeded bread, which was also terrific.. What a wonderful gesture. I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in OC, they’ve gained a customer for life.”

“Mallon's Sticky Buns are delicious! They are baked perfectly. The caramel like sauce all over and in between. Just the right amount of raisins and nuts. Mine arrived in two days. Sometimes they are still warm when they arrive but they are, always, packed very well. If you happen to be in NJ where their stores are when you walk in the staff is very nice, the store is very clean and the smells of the sticky buns, crumb cakes, donuts are heavenly. I wrapped the left overs in wax paper. I have found they taste the best when reheated in the microwave and don't forget the butter. Enjoy!”

“Buddy Loves BBQ was some of the BEST BBQ we’ve had. We got the Family Feast for four of us and there was SO much food. We got the slab of ribs, wings, potato salad, Mac, and beans. Everything was so delicious. Very flavorful and PLENTY for the four of us. Literally finger-licking good. My husband and I love BBQ, so this is definitely a welcomed addition to the boardwalk for us!Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Smiles the whole time they talked to us!Would love if they could add a few more tables so we could sit down and enjoy for longer!Keep up the GREAT work!”

“First visit. Bay side of Asbury Avenue on 11th Street. Tropical beach-stand motif with inviting colors features a walk-up window. Street parking. Chalkboard menus with numerous options for regular combinations or a la carte. This customer doesn't tolerate unripened fruit, so Bungalow Bowls earned 5 stars for quality! I ordered a custom acai bowl. I was greeted with a smile, patience while deciding my fruits, and clean service. Gloved hands selected and sliced beautiful strawberries, blueberries, and mango. I added apple atop granola and peanut butter drizzle. Fantastically ripe and colorful, sweet frozen acai, and fresh granola clusters came together for a layered mid-day treat (lunch) that satisfied. Bowl can close with a lid for transport, but I ate mine right away. Prepared quickly (1 minute) and beautifully. Price was on the high side, but the ingredient quality made it entirely worth it.”

“I must have passed this place year after year but never noticed it before this past summer! We enjoyed a Sunday brunch seated outdoors under a canopy. It was a very hot morning but there was a lovely breeze coming off the ocean. Our meals were delicious! I had a breakfast burrito which was large and heavenly! The coffee was good, too. Staff was helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Brenda's Cafe!”

“I almost don’t want to write this review at the risk of this place getting too popular to get a reservation. The Betz Room is simply The Best food in Ocean City, NJ. Nothing on the island compares. Not even close.You have to join as a member for a modest $25 per person. For those who do not know, Ocean City is a dry town and you cannot consume alcohol anywhere except a for few private clubs. Once you become a member of The Betz Room, you can BYOB and enjoy a fabulous menu. The foie gras app was seared to perfection, served on a date cake with ultra-thin rhubarb. Outstanding… as was the grilled asparagus with a perfectly poached egg, prosciutto and shaved parmigiana reggiano.Our mains were phenomenal. The agnolotti were al dente with a delicate ricotta filling. The seared scallops were the true gem though, perfectly caramelized one side and just a touch to the pan on the other left them perfectly cooked. They were on top of a raviolo with a touch of trout roe. Honestly, I could have closed my eyes and thought I was in a Michelin-rated restaurant (I just ate at one two days ago - so I know!!). The goat cheese cheesecake was sooo subtle and no, not goaty at all. Really, really great.So, if you are in OC and like food, you have to join The Betz Room. It is in a league of its own.”

“Loved this authentic Italian. The portion sizes are huge. We split a pizza and pasta dish between the three of us and still has left overs. The two workers that night were like a comedy double act with non stop banter between them. One of the best pizzas I have ever had and as previously stated huge portion size.I started with the Italian wedding soup and it was phenomenal.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome they don't get any things to do, however they are welcome.”

“Iconic vintage home town comfort food feel restaurant is a treat if you are looking for a known hole in the wall restaurant. Coffee is fresh. We ordered the hot roast beef sandwich with gravy on the side and stuffed French toast . These were both excellent recommendations provide by Monica our most personable waitress who who began as a customer herself. We went for lunch on a Tuesday and were seated without a wait. It's evident regulars dine here as most were greeted by name . Highly recommend.”

Been coming here since I was six years old, and even though it has changed owners over the last few decades, the pizza and atmosphere is still the best.Perfect crust, toppings, and sauce. You couldn't ask for a better pizza by the beach.Staff is always friendly - even when they are super busy.Tip: Order a whole pie... you can do half-n-half as well. Pizzas are all made fresh to order. You can't go wrong.Vegetarian options: Customize your pie without meat if you want to go the veggie route.Parking: Free parking during off season, otherwise you're stuck looking for a lot during the summer months.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps from the street to the boardwalk make this very accessible.”

“We came here twice this week. Both meals were excellent. We got cheese steaks which were loaded with a lot of meat on the 1st visit. We came back today to try the burgers. I got the Kevin Bacon which did not disappoint. Dominic our server couldn't of been any nicer. The restaurant is super clean with comfortable tables and chairs. We will be back. Put this restaurant on your list of a must visit on your vacation. 5 Stars.”

“A friend recommended Uncle Bill's Pancake House in Ocean City, NJ for breakfast. I had never been there but he insisted that we try it. Needless to say, I've never had pancakes that good, ever! Their coffee was equally as good. The waitress was fantastic and checked back several times and even had the entire menu memorized. Trust me, I tried giving her a few numbers, and she nailed everything listed at those numbers without hesitation. If you are in Ocean City, NJ, go check out Uncle Bill's Pancake House. The seating space is very large yet feels warm and inviting. The owner's dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out, and we appreciated the personalized touch. “Johnny B Goode Ice Cream Parlor does the trick if you're looking for a place you can buy fudge and an ice cream sundae. It delivers on the hot fudge aspect of the latter (always surprising to me to find ice cream shops without hot fudge), but the ice cream itself wasn't memorable.The two gals working the counter were friendly, but didn't know a lot about the flavors on offer and were quite simply wrong about something one of the flavors contained. Not a huge deal for me, but I wouldn't recommend this shop if you've any allergies.Overall, an old-timey-ish, somewhat pricey ice cream parlor.”

“Yeah, in March but Palm Sunday and there was a long line even before opening. That says it all. I have been eating their pizza much longer than I will admit. The greatest thing is it has not changed in all those years and that is what makes Manco & Manco a must anytime you are on the boardwalk. Truth be told, I have eaten there sometimes for lunch and dinner in the same day.”

“I really enjoyed prime rib night at Emily’s! Every Tuesday they offer the prime rib special, which includes a 14 oz. prime rib with a garden salad, asparagus, and potato for $29.95. Considering all you get, that’s a very good deal for Ocean City. All the food tasted excellent and was well-prepared. The dining room wasn’t that crowded, yet the server took about twenty minutes before she attended to my table and took my order. Other than the long wait to order, I had a wonderful dinner at Emily’s, and I recommend this place overall.”

The chips are plentiful and very tasty.With views of the fishing pier and the ocean, what more could you ask for? Ike's has become a staple of our visits to Ocean City.”

I personally love Green Eggs downtown Philly for their incredible French Toast.It's off season right now at the shore so we were sat right away. Service was a bit slow but the plates were amazing.Got the cookie dough stuffed french toast- it was incredible as expected.The reason it's 4/5 stars comes down to 1. price (it's just a bit much for an OCNJ breakfast) and 2. slow service (that I do think would be a major problem during the on season).All in all this is more of a treat yourself sort of meal. “This is one of our favorite places in OC! My family has been coming to the Scoop Box for over a decade. And my daughters usually go almost daily during our weekly vacation. The flavors are amazing - our faves include Apple pie, S'mores, Coconut Almond Joy, Maine Blueberry, Cherry Vanilla and Salted Caramel Pretzel. My youngest kid also loves the soft serve with Cotton Candy crunchies. The portions are big and the friendly staff always accommodates our mixing flavors. We also love to hang outside in the seating area. Highly recommend!”

The Auntie Anne's website has the hours for this location swapped with the store farther up the boardwalk. He took great measures to explain what was going on and took steps to get us what we needed. “We live year-round in Ocean City and live exclusively on all the incredible, amazing delicacies at ANEU, 55th Street, for lunch and dinner. We wish this location was open all year but at this time they are open during the summer only. There is thankfully another ANEU location in Margate which currently is open all year, so I will be ordering through the main Paoli location and pickup all our food at the Margate location here https://aneucatering.com/ocean-city-%2F-margate. The reason we love ANEW is because everything is real, whole food ingredients, with no added preservatives, chemicals, etc., and is top quality all hand made daily by their incredible chefs in-house. They have the most amazing variety of proprietary recipes from breakfast, to lunch, to dinner items. The salads are out of this world and not available anywhere else, only at ANEU. You can even choose from pre-cooked, uncooked, or frozen for many of the lunch and dinner items depending on your schedule. Also available fresh daily are custom pastries and desserts to die for. They even have breakfast sandwiches! The staff is amazing. Somehow the ANEW culture of friendly, professional, customer service still exists at its finest throughout the entire staff. A special shout-out to Deanna in the Ocean City location for her contribution to the top-notch service that you are guaranteed to experience. I could go on and on, but to make a long story short let me close by simply saying that ANEW is by far the "BEST IN CLASS" in South Jersey and we are customers for life. Thank you ANEU for everything you do. See you next summer, and until then I'll be ordering through the main Paoli store and pickup in Margate.”

“This eatery caught my radar as we passed by the day before. I said to my family, I want to sit down to a nice meal in a classy restaurant. Lets go tomorrow night... and we did. I noticed it is family run and the server was very knowledgeable about the menu items - my son had fettuccine vodka... i sampled some n decided the pasta was homemade-next, my dish -penne ala panna- creamy sauce, peas, onion, prosciutto., topped wth a basil leaf. My husband had Pomodoro pasta and child enjoyed kids spaghetti' n meatball... we also had dessert- order the chocolate mousse cake , you wont be disappointed. It is to diefor.. My husband nd I shared a Lemon cream cake. I had a cappuccino which was served pipinhg hot and just the right foam. As someone once said " I shall teturn"!”

My favorite is Seafood, and my husband is a meat eater and has tried everything from Steaks, lamb, kangaroo, and camel. My go to is scallops or coconut shrimp. If in area, try it you won't be disappointed. Save room for dessert, they are good too.”

The brick oven pizza, great and the minestrone soup was so good. I ordered the pappardelle pasta in a rosa Alfredo sauce, absolutely delicious and a large portion. We also ordered shrimp Fra diavolo, the shrimp were large and butterflied, also very tasty. It was girls weekend in OC so they gave us each a cannoli for dessert. The menu offers sandwiches, kids meals, pizza and entrees. The staff were pleasant and the owner stopped at most tables to check on things. We will certainly be back. Very happy with our dinner choice!”

We ordered the hot roast beef sandwich with gravy on the side and stuffed French toast . These were both excellent recommendations provide by Monica our most personable waitress who who began as a customer herself. We went for lunch on a Tuesday and were seated without a wait. It's evident regulars dine here as most were greeted by name . Highly recommend.”

“There are two on the boardwalk and I think the Blue Cactus where we ate was actually the one at 986 Boardwalk. But only this one is on Trip Advisor….hoping same owner…our experience was pretty good. The server was nice and the food was fresh. It was a little pricey for the small portions though. Teenagers were still hungry and even I had no problem finishing and having room for dessert.”
