Also, if you’re going to ware gloves for açaí bowl prep, please use caution with touching your hair, counter, face, phone etc and then going back to food prep - gloves can give a false sense of clean and there was lots of cross contamination there.”

“On our vacation trip to ocean city NJ we decided on Mexican food for dinner one night. We had heard of El Guacamole earlier in the year so we gave it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and expertly prepared. Portions were large and the price was what I would have expected to pay at a Jersey shore restaurant. Five of us got entrees with additional sides and the bill was $130. Pictured is an assortment of dishes; tacos enchiladas and sides. Ocean City finally has a really good Mexican restaurant. Nice dining room and outdoor seating is available as well.”

“Every time we come to New Jersey this is a must-stop. The service is always great and the food is fresh. The only thing I would recommend is updating their merchandise. The clothes the staff had on were so cute but they didn't have them on their website.”

“I liked the fries which were gluten and dairy free. The location was crowded by seagulls who are only worthy of extermination. This ruines the atmosphere of the place. They were quick and helpful though.

“Went to this restaurant on a rainy night but had a good experience. The food was very good. We ordered many things including the bento boxes, which were good. The sashimi was good, and the miso soup was good as well. The ramen was good, although It was packaged in a to go container even though we were dining in. Service was slow, but we were a large group of ten people. After, we got some bubble tea which was decent. Overall good meal.”

“Great people, great food. Discovered Ventnor location 2 years ago and met the owner Paul. Wonderful memories so we had to try the new Ocean City NJ location while vacationing there. Just as good and staff was amazing too. Please open a chain in Pittsburgh. For casual amazing seafood dining, I highly recommend PJ Buckets.”

“We got the southend combo with the fried fish, shrimp, scallops, and french fries. It was all incredible, the fried scallops were probably the best I’ve ever had. It was a 20 minute wait for them to drop the order but it was worth the wait for them to fry it on the spot. Plus the staff was super kind and we had some dessert before dinner with a mango gelati from Mike’s ice cream next door. Overall a great experience.”

She wasn't lying....this place is a super friendly, family run establishment that has that old school vibe to it. Food came out hot, fresh and excellent portion sizes. Loved some of the retro paintings especially the Kellogg's cereal one. Added bonus to delicious creamed chip beef is that they mention it by its proper (S.O.S) name. Will definitely be back!”

“I am a Kindergarten teacher in Millville and we decided to take the whole grade level to the beach for a field trip. I reached out to the Churn House asking if they could accommodate our K students and they did not hesitate at all. They opened their ice cream shop early just for our school to enjoy. They made the students huge homemade ice cream sandwiches that were absolutely delicious! Communication was beyond superb and we will be using them again!! Thank you so much for making our kiddos beach day special!!”

“I wish you had more than 5 stars. We can’t say enough good things about our experience. I called ahead and got an emphatic “yes” when I asked if they could accommodate my 6 year old granddaughter who has celiac disease. When we got there and to the counter the owners and counter help could not have been nicer, or more knowledgeable. They gave us our options, of which there were plenty. Showed us the ingredient label. Went in the back for a fresh tub and a clean scoop. We were a party of 8 , and besides celiacs we had one diabetic and one who gets anxiety when having to make a choice between so many flavors. They handled it all. And the ice cream was delicious.”

I plan to come again Tuesday when I’m back down here working! I’m usually incredibly loyal to my Mexican place in Hammonton, but Rojo’s has me rethinking everything. The owner is super cool, too. I had the chance to talk with him during both trips and it’s really not surprising that Joe has had this place all of these years. “We ate at three pizza places in OC and this was the best. We were recommended to eat at Manco and Manco but this place was much better. I’m a pizza snob from Brooklyn and this was done right. Real crust, crunchy, good amount of cheese. And the service and prices matched the quality. I ordered the Sicilian twice and my family ordered the broccoli white and regular slices and all were perfect. This place doesn’t have the fame as others, but it has the best pizza on the boardwalk.”

“Our toddler had a minor meltdown during dinner and needed to go back to the room after a long day at the beach. And on all you can eat crab night! The waitstaff was very accommodating and kept my crab plate warm while I was away, and was nice enough to fire another plate before closing even though I was still working on my first. “We are regulars here. We like eating here because it's enclosed and the food is good. Pricing is Ocean City high but reasonable. You get fairly good-sized portions for what you pay for.

My wife likes their white pizzas. I like their chicken cheesesteaks.

We highly recommend the eatery.

“Dots is a must when you are in Ocean City!!! Family business that has been in Ocean City for decades. They are known for their white cream donuts which are fresh, light, and the filling is so light and fluffy. They make the best sticky buns and try the cheese pocket - its a light flaky danish with a creamy cheese filling. My favorite is the butter cake, it's so gooey and creamy. Great service which is incredible as there is a line out the door everyday!
Such a nice hard working family business too.”

The Auntie Anne's website has the hours for this location swapped with the store farther up the boardwalk. He took great measures to explain what was going on and took steps to get us what we needed. “This place is amazing and I wish they had a franchise opportunity. It’s that good. We love all things Ocean City but the healthy options are limited. We ended up here several times during our stay because it’s that good. We loved it so much we went home and bought a device for whipping frozen bananas. But it’s not the same flavor or texture. Whatever you do, Bashful Banana, keep on doing it! And let me know if you ever franchise. We have been coming there for years and will be back next year!
