“For Valentine's Day weekend, my wife and I dined at the historical and exquisite Knife & Fork Inn on Friday, 2.13.26, since the 14th was totally booked. It was her first time there and mine since childhood. The menu was so extensive that it made it a bit of a welcoming challenge to focus on a particular choice. For starters, our huge portion of the Corn & Crab Chowder was the best that we have ever had and the Artisanal Cheese Plate was delectably wide-ranging. My wife loved the Halibut and my Bone-In Pork Chop was superb. Our cordial and diligent waiter, Carmen, who took service to the next level, suggested the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert and we were very glad that he did as it was perfectly sized to share! Before we arrived, I mentioned to my wife that this would be a top dining experience and it was more than that with the historical ambiance, service and the spectacular menu options. We will definitely be back to try some more of their varied cuisine!”

“Whoever the amazing woman was who took my take out order tonight over the phone was the best! I ordered a Cesear salad and potato leek soup. I told her it was favorite and we quickly shared some laughs and she gave me the best tips on what to eat with (great recommendations btw lol) and was just so kind and bubbly. The food was on point ! “We had dinner at Chef Vola’s on 9/17/25 to celebrate my Birthday. What an excellent dinner and experience. The service is wonderful and our head waiter Anthony is a great guy who provides the best service. The food is beyond comparing it to another restaurant. My wife had the salmon with special sauces that she said was the best she ever had. The bone in veal parmigiana was the best I have ever had by far and there is no comparison. We had the blush pasta which also was outstanding. Our sincere gratitude to the Chef Vola staff for making my birthday extra special.”

“I highly recommend this Greek restaurant. Both meals were very flavorful, filling, and well priced. Everything was fresh and well prepared. We got the Gyro, which came with an excellent Greek salad. We also got a corned beef Reuben, which came with fries. An adaption was made to the sauce on the Reuben and substituted with something preferred. Hummus and pita bread was also served as a part of the meal. Kyma, dessert place across the street, just opened a few few weeks ago. That is also affiliated with this restaurant. They had samples while we were waiting, and those items were excellent too. Location is a very cute area of town on Asbury Avenue.”

“My 16-year-old daughter and I were in town staying in a local hotel for her soccer tournament and wanted some good food. We like to go out to good little places in all the different towns we travel through. So we found this place….. and boy what a surprise. Everything they brought out from the dumplings to the fried rice to the entrées were absolutely delicious. We were stuffed and went home happy. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back.

When we left town in the morning, we were two hours away when I realized I forgot my credit card there. I called and let them know that I was not coming back and they could just throw it away. But instead, Yvonne are wonderful waitress and a super human being paid $12 to send it certified mail to my home in Maryland, and I received it today.

Talk about going above and beyond. Wow. Coming from a business owner, they really know customer service. We saw that while we were there and then again when we got home. If you’re in town, definitely check it out!”
