We've been going to Annie's Carousel for years. Being only a few blocks away, this is our local ice cream place in OCNJ. It's a family owned and operated establishment with the friendliest husband and wife team. As long as you like ice cream, they will definitely have a flavor that you like. They have so many flavors, they almost put that Baskin company to shame, lol.
My only complaint is they're not open all year because even in the winter time, my girls want to go to Annie's when we're down at the shore house. ?
I'm not sure exactly but I think they're open from late May/early June until very early in September. I highly recommend but make sure you have cash because they don't accept debit or credit cards.

We come a couple times per summer and the owners actually recognize us and our kids and have always been so nice.
definitely worth saving room for a stop after the boardwalk or maybe skipping dinner in favor of a couple scoopa after a long beach day.

Every August we are blessed to come down here to Ocean City, one of our first destinations, is right HERE! Always pleasant. Always have the Phillies on which is a bonus! Can’t love this place enough. My wife, my son, we all agree…we walk two blocks, to the best service, the best ice cream, the best atmosphere, this place is AWESOME!
