We've been going to Annie's Carousel for years. Being only a few blocks away, this is our local ice cream place in OCNJ. It's a family owned and operated establishment with the friendliest husband and wife team. As long as you like ice cream, they will definitely have a flavor that you like. They have so many flavors, they almost put that Baskin company to shame, lol.
My only complaint is they're not open all year because even in the winter time, my girls want to go to Annie's when we're down at the shore house. ?
I'm not sure exactly but I think they're open from late May/early June until very early in September. I highly recommend but make sure you have cash because they don't accept debit or credit cards.

We come a couple times per summer and the owners actually recognize us and our kids and have always been so nice.
definitely worth saving room for a stop after the boardwalk or maybe skipping dinner in favor of a couple scoopa after a long beach day.

Every August we are blessed to come down here to Ocean City, one of our first destinations, is right HERE! Always pleasant. Always have the Phillies on which is a bonus! Can’t love this place enough. My wife, my son, we all agree…we walk two blocks, to the best service, the best ice cream, the best atmosphere, this place is AWESOME!

Ice cream is really good at Annie’s Carousel. Not my favorite on the island, but a really good option nonetheless. The staff was busy when we were there, and we felt a little rushed trying to make a decision as it was our first time there. Otherwise, would recommend it to others looking for a good spot for ice cream.

This is a great little hole in the wall ice cream shop, serving bowls, cones, sundaes, or soft pretzels. Their portions are generous making the prices reasonable. Be aware they are cash only.
The shop is small inside, but there a few tables outside along the sidewalk. The ice cream is delicious with a great variety of flavors.
