I have been looking for good bread in South Jersey and I finally found it. I picked up semolina bread, sausage and peppers, stuffed bread, and Saint Joseph’s pastries and everything is on point. I will definitely be coming back.

Love the egg, cheese and sausage on cheese in s Bennes roll sitting outside with a coffe is a thin slice of heaven.Waldorf chicken salad is legendary!

My rating has more to do with my customer experience. Just a small incident where my wife and I were told to go directly up to the register since we were picking up an item from the fridge and others were waiting to order food at the display. Apparently the older employee at the register did not like that and ignored us (yeah it was conspicuous ...and a little embarrassing)Anyway, I asked another young lady what was the matter. (it was that obvious we were being ignored). She said we needed to wait at the sign. I think she felt bad for us.Totally fine, by the way...I did not mean to skirt any rules. But why was I told otherwise? And really to be ignored like that left a sour taste.Not a nice place.(although the young lady was nice and earns a star back)

here are some great information and suggestions for the chef!I always find a special treat or dinner. The pizza is by far the best. They started making pretzels which are absolutely amazing. I love the soup too! I tried the chicken pot pie and eggplant Parmesan. Both were tasty but loaded with salt. If there is any way to ease up on putting too much salt in your food now is the time. Please stay open for the winter!!! The locals need you!

Great customer service backed by excellent food. I was greeted warmly, almost as if I were family, and witnessed staff respectfully and patiently help an elderly woman. The lady had a million questions and then bought one cookie or something. I ordered the margherita pizza, the "real deal" Italian and four arancinis. The food was delicious. The next time I'm back in Ocean City I will make a point of returning.

They know what good food and service is! We order from here a lot. I can happily say we have never had a bad experience!! This business is family owned and local to OCNJ -- they work hard to produce quality meals they might be low staffed but get the job done timely! We love Bennies and the staff!

Love this place great sandwichs for breakfast very reasonable priced. Excellent selection of Italian pastries ?. The seafood salad when they have it is amazing. Haven't been able to get it the last couple years ? if it's there don't pass it up.

Sandwiches we're okay but the wait was insane. 45 minutes for 3 sandwiches and no logic or reasoning as to whose orders come up when. People order 15 minutes after me with more sandwiches and got them before me. Too disorganized I guess.I thought the sandwiches were much better before. My husband hated his sandwich.

Absolute fan of Benny's. We talk about it when we are at home in Lancaster...as in, "hey, hon, do you want to go out for breakfast Saturday? Perhaps Benny's?" And then we sigh, because that's not reality, but it would be awesome. Because Benny's is excellent for the one or two times we go when we are down for a week in the summer. I can't vouch for the entire menu, but let me say this...I have had excellence and never been disappointed. Strong coffee? Check. Crumb cake? Superb. Tomato pie? Outstanding. Anything bread? Fresh Prince of Bellaire. Pastries? Two more, please. Ans this from a guy who avoids carbs if possible. Benny's is impossible to say no to. And everything else in the display counter that I haven't eaten yet looks equally yes. Nothing beats a mid- morning bike ride and 20 minutes at Benny's, watching the world go by in July. Looking forward to next summer already!
