I must have passed this place year after year but never noticed it before this past summer! We enjoyed a Sunday brunch seated outdoors under a canopy. It was a very hot morning but there was a lovely breeze coming off the ocean. Our meals were delicious! I had a breakfast burrito which was large and heavenly! The coffee was good, too. Staff was helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Brenda's Cafe!

Wow. I was not expecting this at all. Food was 100% authentic, and the service was awesome. This place was so good and authentic while tasting the food, I almost cried. It reminded me of my mother's cooking. Thank you for that experience. I will always come here when I'm in town. WoW

We are here for a quick breakfast before hitting the beach. Nothing quick here. Understaffed, ignored for 15 mins then finally I approached the counter. They said sit anywhere we will get to you. Here is where I made my mistake. I waited, 10 more minutes. We ordered omletes. Now I sitting here 30 minutes later. I figured I write this review before we get up and leave. Don't come here. You have been warned. Happy Labor Day!

Great service, great food, lovely ambiance.I had the breakfast tacos on the “authentic Mexican menu” and it was delicious. We sat outside under the portico which had a lovely breeze. They didn’t rush us at all.

Stopped by the lovely Brenda's Cafe in Ocean City for a late breakfast. Wow! If you weren't staying in the Pavilion Hotel (or maybe the Forum across the street) you could easily miss it, and that would be a shame. It's literally part of the Pavilion at 8th and Atlantic, beach block. Hard to imagine a better location for foot traffic. There's a covered patio with AstroTurf that was perfect on the sunny, breezy Friday morning. Brenda's is billed as authentic Mexican cuisine and a neon sign out front reinforces "Breakfast." Therefore we settled on huevos rancheros and the breakfast tacos. Wow! again. Everything is cooked to order and was crazy fresh. I mean garden fresh. The onions were sweet and crunchy. The tomatoes were firm and juicy. The black beans were delicious. For both dishes the street taco sized tortillas were freshly grilled, crispy edges and delicate centers that didn't break despite being generously filled. We also got a side order of home fries that were kind of magical. No ads-ins, onions or pepper. No additional salt to be detected. Just small potatoes cut in halves and wedges, subtle, even seasoning throughout. Simple. Absolutely delicious. Our only regret was finding Brenda's on the last morning of our stay but we come down a couple times a summer and will absolutely put this on top rotation! Loved everything about our visit. Kudos to Brenda and her family.

The best breakfast I've had in OC yet! Everything was delicious, and the customer service was top-notch, and everything was very reasonably priced considering how good the food is. Will be my new favorite spot for breakfast, and im sure the lunch menu is just as good. Can't recommend this place enough!

We waited 2 hours for our food of 5 people, they told us it was coming maybe 4 or 5 times each like 10 minutes apart. The service was ridiculous and they forgot my toast and my brothers meats. I am not coming back ever again.

Food was great beatiful place nice and clean but our waitres wasnt on top she forgot about us i have to went inside the restorant and ask for more drinks and my food came out incomplety manager was exlelent came over to fix her mistake and give us 10% off and make our experience way much better !!!
