First time here but not the last! If you want an authentic Italian sandwich with imported meats from Italy, this is it! Food was delicious. Highly recommend! Loved everything. Smelled like we were in Italy 🇮🇹 😍

I had lunch there today. James made a delicious calamari dish for me. It’s on their appetizer menu. The sauce was also wonderful for dipping the bread in. I recommend the place.
Parking: Now that Labor Day has come and gone, there’s plenty of metered spaces available, I think it was 4 quarters for 2 hours.

Visited on 9/7: front of house was in chaos They firgot about a reservation (not mine?, multiple tables walked out during our stay. Our appetizers came out before our drinks. My family's meals came out before mine, I had to wait unreasonable time for my meal to arrive. Back of house seemed fine , other than my meal was sent out late (possibly servers miscommunication?). Food was fine, could be tweaked better. Example,- veal didn't look inviting and wasn't tender. Antipasto needs to be tighten up. Lasagna was good , meatballs- fine. Chicken cutlet typical. I normally try to reach out privately via Facebook, but Capo Strada deactivated the messenger. We really WANT to like this place , but they not helping their own cause. Possibly one more try.

9/7/24 Been in OC All summer this ha e to be the absolute worst restaurant in OCNJ Ordered chicken Marsala disgusting egg batter horrible chicken on top of spaghetti 0 sauce n disgusting mushrooms Why would u put chicken marsela or top of spaghetti!!!!! Was looking foto dipping the 10$ 1/2 loaf of bread in the Marsala sauce unfortunately 0 sauce Did the same thing to a chicken picante !!!! These 2 dishes have to be the worst I ever had 0 stars n I definitely will not be back

I had the Eggplant Pomodoro and Stuffed Longhots and both were absolutely delicious. My daughter ordered the Familia Muffalatta and it was huge, could easily feed 4-6 people and everything was freshly made. I would say if you enjoy Italian food give this restaurant a try. You will not be disappointed.

Let me begin by saying- delicious!
We were a party of six on a Friday night prime dinner time. Sat outside. The service was friendly and helpful. Guided us through a couple of choices including the penne vodka and pizza selection.
Really if you are used to the boardwalk pizza, you’re in for a more sophisticated treat. Crispy rustic crust with the perfect slightly salty tomato sauce like they toasted the plum tomatoes to bring out a sweet under tone and drizzle of olive oil I think. We had the margarita pizza and it was fantastic.
Three orders of the vodka penne with chicken which was pounded thin and seasoned perfectly.
Eggplant parm was well constructed- not soggy. Good flavor and well presented.
One in our group just ordered the calamari app and a salad. More than a meal together. Calamari arrived sautéed with a tomato sauce with garden peas. Wonderful.
Our server was helpful and despite it being busy dinner was to us within 15 min.
All in all this place rocks. Highly recommend.

Wow. Dont judge a book by its cover. The little emoji on the sign always made me think this place probably wouldn’t be anything too exciting but omg was I blown away. The portions were very good. I got the chicken Marsala and it was probably the best I’ve ever had. The sauce was perfection. They did not skimp on the mushrooms. I received two beautifully cooked pieces of chicken and a portion of pasta to have you leaving full with leftovers. I cannot wait to come back and visit. This will be a must every time I am in town. Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful staff, WONDERFUL food.
Wow! YUMMY pizza. We have been here a few times. Today we tried the Brooklyn Square Thin Crust Pizza with sausage added. The sausage was crumbled. The ratio of sauce, cheese, basil and sausage was perfect. The crust was thin and crunchy which we loved. We started with the Arugula salad. The salad was huge - perfect for sharing. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. The service was fast and friendly!

We have had great food in the past, but we just ordered a pizza, was told and hour and a half, that's fine!! However, just got pizza and it was cold and had clearly been sitting for well over an hour! Hard and cold. No problem waiting if you are overbooked w orders...but we waited and got bad cold sadly a poor pizza.

Seems a popular place, and the food looked delicious! I wish I would have ordered the Stromboli, though. I got a pasta with red sauce, and it was good, but it didn't seem as amazing as the Stromboli I saw at the next table! When we went, it was packed, but the wait staff handled it very well. They were polite and helpful and friendly. The seagulls were on the sidelines, but everyone knew not to feed them, so they stayed away for the most part. I enjoyed the outdoor seating, but they have nice seating inside, too.
