Kathy’s Bakery is a hidden gem in Ocean City! Their cream-filled donuts are not only some of the best around but also huge and deliciously satisfying—they’re worth every bite! Kathy is an incredible baker, and her cakes are absolutely gorgeous, perfect for any special occasion. Plus, the bakery is family-owned by locals who are as kind as they come, making every visit feel like stopping by a friend’s place. Love supporting this amazing local spot. Highly recommend!

This is hands down, the best donut I have ever had in my forty years. I can’t even think of a second. The cream is light. The donut a perfect balance of doughy and crispy. The powdered sugar perfectly sifted. Cathy’s is doing something exceptional.

Very bad experience here today unfortunately. Waited in line at 9:30am for 30 min and no Boston cream donuts available for the remainder of the day. Store hours posted to open at 7:30am but a hand written note on the door said the store will open at 8am. They’re only open from 8-12:30 and have no product by 10am and still allow people to stand in line for more than 30 minutes just to leave empty handed. It’s mid august in Ocean City NJ. Get it together please.

I just want to say, if you’re going to a donut shop where the employees can stack multiple at a time, I’d be questioning the freshness and softness of the donuts. Also, for those who think the line should and would move more quickly with more workers behind the counter, have you considered this is purposeful because the donuts run out quickly even at the pace they go? More are always coming out but not immediately, so you’d be hurrying up to wait. Cathy’s ALWAYS has a line for at least the first two hours of the day anyway, and that has nothing to do with the pace of the workers and everything to do with the quality of the product. If you’re not willing to wait, there are plenty of other bakeries on the island who never have a line. You could try one of those and save some Cathy’s for the rest of us!

Very fresh donuts! Lots of other amazing looking bakery items as well. Wish I'd gotten two or three now, lol. Definitely will be back tomorrow. I did also get a chocolate milk for my kid. Didn't realize it was organic reduced fat. It did not taste like chocolate milk. My kid hated it, as did I. Just go for the bakery items.

Amazing donuts!! We also got a pastry for later which was so fresh and soft. We sadly got there right as the cream filled some out so hopefully next time we come down they’ll have them!

Donuts are extremely fresh, we thoroughly enjoyed them. I went here twice in one week. Spent like $154.
Quite expensive. The wait was long. The girls behind the counter are the slowest I have ever encountered. One donut at a time and got like 3 doz each day. Gonna try another place, as I am here for another week.

Line starts 30 minutes early and you are probably going to wait in the line for 30 minutes even mid line. Average line wait probably 45 minutes. Didn't run out of products. Donuts and Danish were excellent. I enjoyed them

With hours like they have they won’t be in business long. Come on it’s Aug and your open 3 days a week. The only reason I gave 2 stars because there donuts are good. I rode all the way down there for nothing

I've heard so many good things about Cathy's cream donuts so I had to try them for myself. They are absolutely delicious. The bakery is adorable, the girls at the counter were very sweet and I even got to meet the infamous Cathy! Continued success.
