Cathy's is hands down the best donuts in OCNJ. We have tried them all and certain places have their goodies and some so-so selections. At Cathy's, everything you get there is awesome. I was not a cream donut fan before trying Cathy's version. It is like eating a cloud covered in sugar...don't miss it.

This pink palace produces some perfectly amazing donuts. Ours were hot and fresh. We tried the ring donuts with sprinkles and a cream filled piece of heaven. They were all phenomenal, and served in a pretty pink box. So good!!

Today was my first experience at Cathy's and with a line wrapped around the corner I was hopeful that this was the place, but sadly it is rather generic and not worth an hour wait in line. I was told the powdered cream donuts are the best in the world, and while the pastry cream filling was certainly one of the best I've ever had, the donut itself was very dense and dry, not light and fluffy like a cream donut should be. I also got a cinnamon-sugar cake donut that fell apart as soon as I bit into it; the crusty outer layer did not hold together with the inner cake of the donut (usually a sign of frying oil not being changed regularly). As for the cheese danish I got, the cheese tasted very sour and old. It is also fairly expensive here. I understand it is the shore, but $3.50 for ONE donut seems a bit excessive when there are more affordable options within walking distance.

The waiting experience was great. They had fans that mist. It definitely made the hot wait much better. The donuts are great size and have a lot of different flavors.

Kathy’s Bakery is a hidden gem in Ocean City! Their cream-filled donuts are not only some of the best around but also huge and deliciously satisfying—they’re worth every bite! Kathy is an incredible baker, and her cakes are absolutely gorgeous, perfect for any special occasion. Plus, the bakery is family-owned by locals who are as kind as they come, making every visit feel like stopping by a friend’s place. Love supporting this amazing local spot. Highly recommend!
