I asked for a BEC on cinnamon rasin and after waiting 15 minutes got sausage on a poppy seed bagel. My friend asked for sausage and bacon on a cinnamon rasin and they gave him a BEC on plain with onions…
Food was tasty though

Please train your staff to do better. I shouldn’t have to overpay because the cashier can’t figure out what she’s doing.

Food: we ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches. One was a bagel and 2 on sourdough toast. None were toasted-more “warmed”
with no visible toast marks. Understandable as the kitchen staff was stretched to the max. Egg Portions were good with lots of egg but a bit skimpy on the pork roll and bacon.
Service: staff were very friendly and I watched them deal with grumpy customers with grace. They have a nice ordering system, they could benefit from an outside monitor as it is very cramped waiting for your order and share with customers where they are in the queue. Communication helps. Many of us just wondered where we were in the wait time.
Wait times: this was the main reason for my low rating. I waiting 35 minutes for 3 simple breakfast sandwiches. I watched 2 women work their butts off in the back trying to keep up with orders. They need to either rework how front staff work orders (as many times they were standing around waiting) or hire more cooks. I overheard many people mentioning they would not be back because of wait time. I awkwardly watched some men go up front and stare down staff waiting for their slow-moving order.

Back in town visiting family and used to frequently buy from Dead End. I always was very impressed by the quality and service in the past but today was a different story. Today I waited for two bagels for 20 minutes to be disappointed. We ordered a pork roll egg and cheese BUT the bagel was cold, untoasted, stale tasting, barely any egg, and one measly slice of pork roll. Quality has completely ate the dust.

Waited over an hour for 3 bagels, the staff looked lost and the place was filled with people waiting. Food was mid but definitely not worth the wait

We found this place last year. It's on the Bayside of OCNJ. We liked it enough we came back this year for breakfast again. The portions are very good. Only downfall is there is a small section outside to eat.

Just walked in the pouring rain to Dead End Bagels on the boardwalk to get a dozen bagels. They will not bag them unless you get a spread on them. Stupid rule and very poor customer service.

I ordered a plain bagel with vegan cream cheese and a maple latte—both were delicious! very long wait time, but everyone was friendly and it seemed to be a very busy day.

Food is good, but not worth the 2-3 hours you will have to wait for it. Ordered online and the wait time was 90 minutes, that was a lie. While waiting the additional time in the store people were told a wait time of 45 minutes, which was not at all true. Order from here if you have nothing else to do today and aren't hungry yet.

Ridiculous wait time. We placed an order for 4 sandwiches at 9:30 online, thinking we were going to save us some time. After placing the order we saw the pick up time was 11, which we possibly thought was a mistake. We went in there around 10 and the order was not ready so we went to walk around Asbury for 45 minutes hoping our order was ready. Once we came back it was actually little past 11, we were still waiting for our order and were told it was going to be another 15-20 minutes. After 30 minutes, we went to check again and it still was not ready. All we were told was that the order will be on the pick up shelf when it is ready. After almost 2 and a half hours, our order was finally ready. But unfortunately was wrong! We were not informed that they were out of egg whites even 2 and a half hours into our order wait time.

Boardwalk Location: Ordered 1 bagel with cream cheese and waited 40 minutes. Very unorganized. Staff standing around. Recommend 1staff take orders, staff on hot orders, staff on cold cream cheese only and staff on drinks. Others around also complaining about the wait for simple orders.

It might be quicker to grow the wheat yourself, mill it into flour and make bagels than it takes for food to be made to order here.

Cost affective but for a reason. I ordered an everything wheat bagel toasted with Italian herb CC. Came out as a plain bagel with barley any cream cheese. The cream cheese was disgusting with huge leaves of rotten rosemary and sage in it.

Service was slow and customer service was not great. Ghetto bathroom with not great accessibility.
Definitely don't recommend unless you don't care about a good bagel and good service.
