If you get tired of the “junk food” on the boardwalk, this is a good spot to hit. I did takeout twice while recently at Ocean City. I had the broiled scallop platter, which had a surprisingly number of scallops, along with a nice serving of spring mix. Perfect meal. The next day I had the apple walnut salad with grilled chicken. Nice portion, and it tasted great.

I've been to Ocean City before and been on the boardwalk, but I don't think I ever noticed this spot before. My boyfriend and I were sat pretty quick. Our server was great and very friendly. She definitely was helpful and welcoming, especially when there was an allergy issue when my food came out (my fault, not hers) and she offered to have a new one made. I ordered the Cod Tenders app as my meal, so no fries (pretty sure I'm remembering that right) and he got a Buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Food was good. It was cooked perfectly because the cod wasn't soggy when it came out and it was flaky and crispy. It's a bit of a tight space especially if you're seated in the booths by the entrance because you're right by the cooks line but that's most places on the boardwalk. I wouldn't come here with a huge group, but definitely great for smaller groups for sure.

Good, consistent boardwalk food. Cheese steaks are one of my favorites, coconut shrimp also another fan favorite. Very small place so it does get hot inside - but worth it bc food is that good. Overall would definitely recommend as a stop when in OCParking: Given location best bet is to walk or bike. Parking is available but you will need to find parking as you would for boardwalk (which means street, paid lot or paid street)Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly but tight so no strollers allowed inside. You can lock up on boardwalk and they even offer complimentary lock if you don’t have one.

We've been coming to OCNJ for years, and Dels is great for a good variety of cheesesteaks, burgers, and legit beer-battered onion rings. The service is genuinely friendly and quick to help, and the price is fair. Crab cakes and seafood is on the menu, but not their strong suit. Stick with the steaks and burgers, and you can't go wrong.

Dels is as much an institution as Jillys Roma-II or seaguls stealing fries. As any cheese steak connoisseur will tell you: It's all about the bread/roll and then quality ingredients count for the other half, naturally ?. Del's is Del-i-cious I can't call it the Buffalo Chicken Cheese steaks are as good if not better than a regular (hot sauce they use is a specialty. I love this place I make an order on every return trip from the shore, so when I get home, I can have a bite that takes me right back by the ocean, that's if it lasts the whole ride. Over the decades a few may have disappeared in transit.

Ordered 2 California burgers which were cooked perfectly. Fries were crunchy & hot and the food was ready when we went to pick up our order. We loved it so much that we ordered the very next day for dinner. Cheesesteaks & fries. Again, cooked perfectly. Fries hot crunchy delicious. Condiments provided with each order, no need to fumble with rechecking order before leaving. Had we known of this hidden gem sooner, we probably would have eaten at dells more during our vacation!
