Emily’s Ocean Room Restaurant

Was with my parents and going to book a reservation front desk lady was very rude and unapproachable. Very unpleasant personality. Decided not to reserve and take my business elsewhere

Well, this was a huge disappointment. First, the reservation experience was odd. They called to comfirm our reservation and asked if we were ok witb outdoor seating. I said we would prefer indoor. We were seated inside, but it was odd they asked that as the dining had many open tables and was not very busy. We ordered the shrimp and steamed clams for an app. Filet, crab cakes, all you can eat crabs and chicken fingers.
The first thing to the table was all you can eat crabs for $72.95...AND THEN the other entrees came out...I asked where our appetitzers were and the response was should we keep the entrees warm while the chef gets the apps ready? So we asked to leave the entrees and bring out apps when ready. The food was underwhelming to be polite. All drinks were served in plastic cups. For a $200 meal, can we have glasses? Would not recommend this place. It is a real shame because the location is great, maybe under different management or another concept, this restaurant would do better.

We ate here two nights in a row unfortunately and the food was mediocre at best. Perhaps it’s best that they never even brought one of our entrees at all. But they were surprised when I asked to cancel it. They had no idea it was even missing.

The decor is a little weird but the all you can eat crab legs they do from June-mid September is delicious! They have excellent service.

Dined at Emily's off season in May. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food (gnocchi me, beet salad her) was delicious and reasonably priced. I left my card there and the staff was extremely helpful getting it back. Highly recommend!

We were there for breakfast - a big party of 8. 2 of us ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were practically hard boiled . Other than that - everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals . Pancakes were very good and a great review was given on the creamed chipped beef!

The room was lovely, and it was a nice quiet atmosphere. The Prime Rib was cooked as requested; but it was not tender; and it didn’t have a good flavor.

Our toddler had a minor meltdown during dinner and needed to go back to the room after a long day at the beach. And on all you can eat crab night! The waitstaff was very accommodating and kept my crab plate warm while I was away, and was nice enough to fire another plate before closing even though I was still working on my first. Much appreciated and great job, y'all!!

We were greeted by Ashley and promptly given a table. She was so pleasant, made us feel very welcomed. Our server Cindy was quick, very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and quite honestly, will absolutely return again! It’s a hidden gem in OC but make reservations because they are BUSY!!

Found this quaint lovely little spot. The quiche and clam chowder are delightful and the service was personal and pleasant. Cindy is doing a great job managing!
