Really expected so much more after reading the reviews. Tacos were dry. Nacho chips were stale. Shrimp scampi for $25 was the smallest portion I’ve ever seen with few shrimp. Chicken parmigiana was chicken fingers thrown on top of pasta. Even gave it a second try for breakfast! Eggs Benedict. Both orders - eggs were almost hard boiled . One of my eggs leaked watery substance when opened and yet yolk was basically hard boiled. Avocado was supposed to be slices but was a guacamole basically and didn’t look fresh at all. We were in a rush so ate what we could and told waitress to tell cook about the issue. She said ok…. Instead of having a manager speak to us personally. Even bought toffee which almost broke my tooth. STALE. Definitely Not returning.

Great service. The food is not fancy, but it is the most delicious boardwalk style food I have ever had. Fries seasoned to a T and crispy, not greasy! Shrimp taco, seasoned to perfection and perfectly cooked, made with fresh corn tortillas!

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience from my recent visit to George’s surf side grill. It was my first time there, and I must say it was nothing short of phenomenal.
The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to visit, especially if you have kids. The view was fantastic, perfect for those who enjoy people-watching on the boardwalk. Moreover, I found the prices to be quite reasonable.
During my visit, I ordered the fish tacos, and they were delicious. I would also like to commend Tony, the server, for his exceptional service. He truly went above and beyond to make my experience memorable.
Thank you once again for a wonderful experience. I look forward to visiting again soon.

George’s our favorite breakfast spot in Ocean City. Bill the owner is so present and walks around and talk to everybody at the tables. Very family oriented restaurant. Jaclyn our server was awesome!!

How does this place have such high reviews? We went here for breakfast and it was awful! I’ll start with the positive. The orange juice was delicious. We had a party of eight so we tried just about everything on their small and unimaginative menu. I had the avocado toast and it was certainly meh. The bread wasn’t substantial enough to support the mashed avocado and poached egg. They used a basic, sliced multigrain sandwich bread which quickly became soggy. They used similar sandwich bread for the French toast—which is fine when you’re making French toast at home, but at a restaurant that is this highly rated one would expect something special. The person who ordered it added strawberries which amounted to maybe four sliced berries for three bucks. I ordered the fruit bowl and the banana it contained was bruised and overripe. The worst part of the whole meal was the home fries. They were barely browned and cold. A note on the atmosphere. They were selling crap galore which was extremely distracting to the children in our group. Two stars is a fair judgement of this place. Give it a pass.
