I was very disappointed to see the sale of hermit crabs at George’s. The people were very nice and I bought a shot glass before seeing the hermit crabs on the other side.
Hermit crabs are hard to care for and shouldn’t be sold carelessly and with profit in mind. The paint on their shells leech chemicals that poison them and shorten their lifespans.

So EVERYONE knows about George’s Macaroons, breakfasts and Ice cream. But I just had THE MOST DELICIOUS HOMEMADE FUDGE delivered, and it was beyond wonderful!!!! I received a gift card for my birthday and I ordered the fudge I knew would be delicious from when I used to order it when I was right there in O.C., New Jersey, but it was even better than I remember!!! SOOOOO FRESH!!! Unfortunately, I’m not able to go to travel to Ocean City, New Jersey right now ! AND George’s Candies delivered the fudge immediately. AND I found out they will DELIVER ALL YEAR LONG & I am out of State!!! Do not miss out on this decadent homemade fudge that is BEYOND LUSCIOUS!!!!! Yummmmmmm!!!!

We purchased fudge here last night. It was not properly made. Some of it was mushy, wet and under cooked and other pieces were brittle and hard. Very disappointing! Will not be returning for Fudge here again. Steel’s is definitely the place to go for delicious Fudge!
Best treats of the boardwalk are right here! Check out their freshly-made toasted coconut macaroons covered in chocolate. They are outstanding. And then for dessert, try their chocolate-covered pretzels. Then, for second dessert, skip that frozen custard and grab that homemade, hand-dipped ice cream!

After scouring options in the town for dinner, we chose George’s Seaside Grille (George’s macaroons are sold their, too!!!) Never had dinner there before. Wife ordered Shrimp Burrito with mango salsa and avocado. I ordered the Beach Patrol Burger with cheese and Taylor Pork Roll on grilled brioche bun!! WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE!!! Food was terrific and both came with generous order of fries!! Our observations: conveniently located on Ocean City Boardwalk; great variety in menu options available for families; great value!!!! Restaurant offers breakfasts as well, plus world-famous coconut macaroons, an extensive ice cream menu … and an abundance of toys and novelties for kids of all ages!!! And our water, David, could not have been more pleasant and accommodating!! Give ‘em a try. You’ll be hooked as we are!!

My expectations are pretty low for boardwalk food, but we were very impressed with our lunch here. Delicious burger and fries, great ice cream variety. Looking forward to our next trip!
