Hula Restaurant is one of my favorite spots in Ocean City. The fresh flounder sandwich was outstanding. It was perfectly cooked, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food make this a place I’ll keep coming back to whenever I’m in town.

Hula Grill served a plate full of food to my table for $12 that included pulled pork, sticky rice, and a salad. The sauce on the pork was tangy, sweet, and a little spicy and the dressing on the salad was sweet and light. Found my new boardwalk dinner place, thanks Hula Restaurant!

Edit: 9 years later, I've had lunch or dinner at this restaurant every time I'm in town and I buy their sauces and make my own teriyaki dinners at home. Still the best place to grab food on the boardwalk!

Hula Grill is unique because there are plenty of places to give you unhealthy food on the boardwalk, but if you want an great tasting, affordable meal with veggies, Hula Restaurant can't be beat!

We have been coming for at least 9 years and love this place! Its not your typical boardwalk food. The sauces are fantastic and I love getting perfectly cooked rice and delicious salad with my order- it helps balance out the fries I get! We always get sauces and the dressing to take home and tide us over until we come back.

It’s that time of year! It’s automatic that we come here 1-2 times everytime we come to OC. The Hawaiian chicken plate and firecracker shrimp is our go to and we split half and half. Everything on the menu is great and being a hula veteran, it’s true when people say the consistency is carried throughout the years. Another green flag is it has been the same staff for a long time. Food comes out insanely fast and is in the back corner of boardwalk away from seagulls for the most part. Highly recommended and will always be back for more. Even when busy, it’s not too loud. Enjoyable meal each time. Aside from a large menu, the children’s options are also good. Best French fries on the boardwalk.

The Hula Restaurant is Excellent! My family and I just left and we enjoyed the Hawaiian Chicken (Teriyaki), Crispy Chicken and Ahi Plate! Inside seating was key as the weather is nice but a little windy. Also my wife loved the pottery! A must! Will come back on our next trip!

Very good food and large servings! Note to self: “spring roll = Burrito”! But they were filled with salmon! Tasty!

I always looked forward to coming here. Past few times were disappointing. Food isn't the same. Mushy rice. Stale bread for bairly stuffed lobster roll. I will not be going back. Price is too high for current quality.

Located on the Ocean City, NJ boardwalk this is a wonderful pit stop on a day of fun!

Food was easy to order at the front of the restaurant. Plenty of outdoor seating, and the food was excellent.

I had the Crab Burger which is a crab cake on a bun. The flavoring was good, the cake itself was more crab than filling which was awesome for a $14 sandwich.

I will definitely be back!

The service was okay, the young ladies were nice. But the woman in the back who also brought out the food was rude. The food tasted awful. Will not be going back for sure. Everyone else's food came out before ours, and our presentation was awful and theirs was nice. It so uncomfortable to sit eating, couldn't wait to leave!!

Hula is my family’s go-to OC spot! We always leave happy (the food is so fresh and flavorful!) - we keep coming back for more!

Ate here a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. For a small place , the food was surprisingly good. You order at the counter, they give you a number to put on your table outside and they bring you your food. If your looking for a break from fried boardwalk fare, this will be a nice change of pace.
