This place was where we decided to have dinner, after checking out the reviews and menus of the boardwalk food spots. Our server was fantastic and friendly, and the food was really good and was served fast. We got the calamari and a crab cake for starters and both were super tasty, particularly the calamari! We also ordered the Dirty Bird sandwich and the jumbo fried shrimp. We shared bites and agreed that both were good enough that neither choice out shined the other...Yum! The coleslaw was delicious and those spiral potato things that come with your meal are SO Good! See you again next time around, Ike's!

I'm really not sure how or why they're famous? The crabcakes are mostly mushy filler and seemed frozen, not fresh. The shrimp tacos barely contained any shrimp. And the butterfly chips were so undercooked they were bendy. Needless to say we do not plan to dine here again.

Always a good time, loud and lively with the great staff and terrific food from the scallops to the crabcake to the Mariners feast and the funds kids meal served in the bucket chef Vinny kills it daily on the grille running the kitchen like a boss!! Thanks always!! Rob

Great crab cakes, picnic tables for larger groups. The waiter was fast and nice/social. Overall always a good experience. We go here every summer and they always treat our large group well. The fruit sweet tea is also the best!

Decided to try the crab cakes last night. The platter after taxes was ~$29 and came with homemade chips, coleslaw and 2 4oz crab cakes.
Chips and coleslaw were good.
The crab cakes seemed very low quality.
It tasted very processed and doughy (I guess that it is the best way to describe it). Wound up throwing out one of the crab cakes because just wasn’t really good. Definitely not worth the price.

Highly recommend this restaurant! I checked off a lot of items on the menu because I was feeding an extended family of 9-10 people ages 5 to 72. One dish per person plus a few clam/corn chowders…zero leftovers and that’s with 4 kids under the age of 10 loving every bite. There’s really no complaints here, staff is great, food is amazing, and yes I’ve been going here for as long as I can remember. With that in mind the food never lets you down and neither will the staff.
Parking: Depending on your timing parking can be an issue but overall I’ve never had a problem. But I also do a lot of takeout too
Kid-friendliness: Yes and yes, the kids chicken fingers even come in a reusable beach bucket
Wheelchair accessibility: If you’re comfortable getting up on the boardwalk with your wheelchair there’s plenty of space and proper table hight

This place is the greatest seafood place of all time. I have never in my life been to a better seafood place than IKES. Everything at IKES is outstanding and I recommend anything on the menu. By far the best spot on the boardwalk
