Manco & Manco has been our go to pizza along with 3 Brothers on the Ocean City boardwalk.
Don't know what happened since we were last back here, but today's pizza was embarrassingly BAD.
We complained to an employee that there was virtually no sauce on our slices, and she said she couldn't help us.
She should have tried again to provide what we have come to expect over the last two decades. Manco & Manco need not expect us to come back ever again.

Why am I forced to tip a minimum of 15%? For a takeout drink that's silly. Your already gouging me 4.50 for a fountain drink

May be the worst pizza I've ever had. Veggie pizza slice had micro chopped onions and peppers and a few mushrooms. All bagged or canned - morning fresh. Little to no red sauce and what there was had no taste. Little to no cheese and again, tasteless. Crust had so much oil that it tasted fried rather than baked. 1 normal sized slice was $8.

Cesar salad was also not terribly fresh, served with to much cheese sliced too thick, packaged croutons and simply awful dressing.

The restaurant is not terribly clean due to the crowds and high turnover. Servers are just doing their job, not friendly but certainly not rude. Runners throw you food at you and leave quickly without a word. No one comes back to see if all is ok.

The place always seems to be crowded, but I'd stay away.

I used to LOVE the tradition of Mack & Mancos when I was a kid growing up coming to the shore. It’s true, you can now buy 4 slices for $26 and that’s for white broccoli slices (kind of a joke IMO). Now we all know pizza and other food is expensive on the boards but Preps Pizza is just as good if not much better.

Why I recommend Preps is more because they always greet you with a smile and seem to actually enjoy making pizza for their customers.

The employees at Mancos were just cold, the atmosphere is a little depressing and they seem to have this attitude that makes you not feel welcome.

Anyway, all I’m saying is if you’re gonna pay for very expensive boardwalk pizza, I’m going to recommend Preps over Mancos any day of the week!

Their pizza is so good. I had white pizza with tomato...yummy, my hubby had white pizza with chicken and spinach and also with BBQ chicken. He really liked them. I highly recommend this place

Manco and Manco slices are small and disappointing for 5 bucks with pepperoni. Manhattan prices for Domino slices.

Its a shore tradition! Only place on the boardwalk where 3-4 slices will cost as much as a whole pie! Just what we wanted! For real, Mack's tastes better and the slices are bigger. Crust was also extremely crunchy to the point it hurt our mouths, not like others on the boardwalk or, again, not as good as Mack's. It's a shame they split. Pictured slices: plain, meat lovers, and "ours everything" slice. The everything slice was still cold in the middle because they pile on so much.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes not labeled, but they're there.

Dietary restrictions: No gluten free options

Kid-friendliness: Not super friendly for kids to dine-in but you can walk up with as big a party as you want on the boardwalk side and take to go.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible to the first few tables only. Don't try to squeeze through to the back tables for dine-in

This is our go-to Mancos when we’re down the shore. We’ve sat all the way inside and at the counter. Food is always great, service is friendly and fast, and my only complaint is how loud it gets when it’s packed. Love it, though!!

I grew up in South Jersey and I never understood why everyone raved about this pizza. So on my most recent trip to OCNJ I decided to give it another shot since it has been about 20 years since I have tried it. And once again it was nothing to write home about. The cheese wasn't even fully melted and it just wasn't what Jersey pizza should be. Maybe it's all the out of staters visiting or the ocean causing delusion. But this establishment does not have good pizza.
