Mario's Pizzeria & Restaurant

I’ve been here many times and I have always get the chicken parm sandwich with vodka sauce instead of red sauce (which is to die for) but when I called tonight the manager told the nice young woman on the phone that they “cant do that” If their sandwiches are fresh and they have vodka sauce, i dont see why this isn’t possible. If it was a busy Saturday night i would totally be understanding but the inconsistency is frustrating. You’re telling me an Italian place cant put vodka sauce on a piece of bread? Idk seems weird to me and I’m hangry with no sandwich. Food is banging tho but that one manager is annoying me.

My family and I visited Mario’s Pizza during 4th of July week. We were hoping that there wouldn’t be a long wait since we know from prior experience that there could be wait time during busy season. Thankfully we were seated right away for 8pm-ish dinner. Our waitress was Giana. She was beautiful, kind and patient with us, despite our unruly toddler. She brought her crayons to keep her occupied. The Food was great, as usual. We ordered pizza, a garden salad, and a cheesesteak. The pizza was great, not soggy and definitely worth the wait. The cheesesteak was delicious, and served on a great roll. Thank you Giana for waiting on our table tonight. You’re the best

This was an amazing place. The food was delicious and our waitress Gianna was more than friendly. She was so amazing. We have and will continue to recommend this place. We will definately be coming back soon!

We ordered pizza to go and also tried their gelato. The pizza crust was really good—crispy and flavorful. The highlight though was the Italian rainbow cookie gelato—absolutely delicious and unique! The only downside was the wait time—we had to wait about 45 minutes for the pizza. Worth it in the end, but just be prepared if you’re in a rush.

Got 4 pizzas on 2 separate occasions while vacationing. All pizzas were fantastic. This will definitely be our new pizza spot.

Very straightforward pizza/pasta/sandwiches place. They have ample seating as well as a takeout window. The portions were huge (we had lots of leftovers) and the server was friendly and attentive. Great spot for a simple meal post beach.

Vodka sauce had very little flavor, chicken bland. "Tossed salad" was iceberg lettuce and one grape tomato. Ravioli was good, but sauce was not what I was expecting. Staff was really nice and professional, but food was a little disappointing.

This is a great place to have a decent meal. The pizza is pretty good. The pasta I ordered was made well, and seemed to be made with quality ingredients. However, it desperately needed some salt/seasoning. But after adding some salt, pepper, and some grated cheese, it was amazing! Shrimp was fantastic, and so were the scallops. I would definitely recommend giving these guys a try!

Very disappointed tonight. One waitress, who was doing her best, while hostess/server only cleared tables. Waited twenty minutes for salads (hostess could have helped with them). Waited another 15 mintues for meals. Mine was warm, husbands was hot. Will not be back there any time soon. Used to be very good

We love this restaurant and the staff are excellent.
The only time I had a concern, the owner immediately addressed it. They obviously take care of their customers.
We always love Mario's and we do visit whenever we are in OC.

Kid-friendliness: The hostess gives a kids menu and crayons, which was nice.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. Gianna is so amazing and Mary was such a big help. Food was awesome and atmosphere was unbelievably amazing.
