Monkey Bread in OC was one of the best treats you could experience before. My wife and I orderd from the boardwalk shop this Sunday 09/01 was such a dissapointment. The Monkey Bread was so stale and lacked any flavor that i onced remembered. How long is the product left in that cabinet. The product we were served had to be at least 2-3 days old. The person who was serving the food was also less than happy to be there as well. We will not be back.

I can’t honestly rate the food because we never got a chance to try it. The website said it opens at 7am. They didn’t open the doors until 7:10 and then they spent a few minutes setting up. We set off to the side and waited. We finally walked up at 7:15 to order Monkey Bread. We were told they didn’t have any. They needed to cook it and it would take at least another 20+ minutes. It would seem a place named Monkey Bread that sells and is known for Monkey Bread would have said Monkey Bread ready to order and consume at opening. Why not just open up at 7:30 when everything is cooked or have workers show up at 6:30 so the restaurant is actually functioning at 7? Not good business practices and very misleading.

Monkey bread has always been a favorite for my family and I. I will say that the quality isn’t quite as good as it was in the past but it is still very delicious. I definitely look forward to buying some every time we come to ocean city.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of trying monkey bread in Ocean City, New Jersey, and it was quite disappointing. I had high hopes for this sweet treat, but it fell short in several ways. Firstly, the texture was off. Instead of the soft, gooey goodness I was expecting, the bread was dry and overly dense. It seemed as if it had been sitting out for too long, losing the fresh, pull-apart quality that makes monkey bread so enjoyable. The pieces were hard to separate, and chewing through them felt more like a chore than a treat. The flavor was another letdown. The bread lacked the rich, buttery taste and the cinnamon-sugar coating was uneven and sparse. Some bites were overwhelmingly sweet while others were completely bland. The balance of flavors was missing, leaving an unsatisfactory overall taste. Overall, my experience with the monkey bread in Ocean City, New Jersey, was regrettable. It lacked the essential qualities that make monkey bread a beloved treat: a soft, moist texture, a harmonious blend of flavors, and an enticing appearance. I would not recommend this particular monkey bread to anyone looking for a satisfying dessert.

They gave me a cold hard lump of bread. If it threw the monkey bread it would have hurt someone. Can't pierce it with a fork!

Paid $17 for the driest monkey bread we've ever had. We asked for it warm and it felt like they put it in for 5 seconds. The bread is also hard and seems old. I'm only giving it 2 stars because the salted caramel one was slightly more moist

Sweet, Sticky, and Absolutely Irresistible

Monkey Bread is a delightful treat that combines the simplicity of bread with the decadence of a gooey, caramelized coating. Each bite offers a perfect balance of sweetness and warmth, making it an instant crowd-pleaser for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. Whether served fresh from the oven or enjoyed as leftovers the next day, Monkey Bread is sure to satisfy your cravings for something indulgent and comforting.

Just went up to the boardwalk as I am leaving the area for the next 7 months and won’t be home for the next summer season. Thought I’d stop and get my favorite money bread. Too bad for me because the employee was dead asleep sitting on the counter and we couldn’t wake him up. Great business.

Got the Nutella monkey bread and banana monkey bread. Tried 2 smoothies as well. Service was so friendly. Wish the banana was fresh banana and more of it but it was good nonetheless.

Very well served by the young man at the cash register. A good monkey bread, a little dry, but it works, we were offered to reheat it which we were delighted with. ?
