July 30 around 11am. I love this coffee shop but we just experienced poor service from a disinterested staff member who was checking texts and not helpful or engaged. As The coffee is great but kind service is important too and I am not sure we will return.

The scent of homemade scones, muffins and breakfast goodies wafting through Atlantic & 4th street pulls you in to this cozy arty gem. It’s 7:29am and I’m on my 2nd cappuccino…it’s that good! For breakfast and lunch, groups of young and old alike have been coming for years because the owners make you feel like family…and because the food is SOOO good! Already I know we’ll be back early tomorrow and every time we visit Ocean City. Positively Fourth Street is my kinda place!

Came here this morning & can say this is definitely some of the best coffee in OC!!! I don’t know what some of these reviews about miserable staff are about but the girl working was so sweet! I got the vanilla bean latte and reccomend that to anyone looking for something less sweet!

Place looks cute, looks like they have good coffee, did not enjoy the breakfast. I ordered an egg, cheese, bacon with arugula on a bagel and what I got was a dry egg bake with bacon bits (they charge extra for them) with no cheese on a bagel that tasted like cardboard.

The cashier was mad or unhappy with her day. Ordered a scone and she handed it to me with a parchment piece. No bag but I am take-out order. Took 35 minutes for a 7$hummus platter( veggie and pita)and a Chicken salad platter (should have been the same platter). Both are cold(so why take so long). The chicken platter is not a platter and not a regular chicken salad. Chicken and balsamic with onions on lettuce. That is a salad. No descriptions or dietary details, and can barely answer questions. Confused about why you have a problem with your order and only offer for you to order again, to pay. Not worth the wait and dealing with OC.
Year after year this cafe continues to be the slowest service and most miserable staff. I want it to be better, but it just isn’t. You will still wait a considerable amount of time even if there isn’t a line out the door. I was the only one in the shop early in the morning, waiting for my latte that came out cold and took her eight minutes to make. I think I’ve learned my lesson not to go back to this place. I’ve come in the off-season and the same situation.

Food, coffee, and service are very great, but the line is out the door every morning. Don’t bother placing an order online, you still have to wait in the same line for picking up food that is already paid for. I honestly hate coming here, for one reason alone. The line. Just make a separate line for picking up online orders.
Also, there aren’t any signs to tell people that the line is the same, so every day I hear people wondering whether it’s the same line for pickup up and placing orders. It creates a weird, co fusing, uncomfortable atmosphere at times.
