I had to post about my experience here to hopefully help others to avoid this place. Funny to see all the mentions of the “rude old man” seems like what happened to my wife and I is not unusual for him. My wife complained about the pizza but I honestly don’t care about the quality of the food. The old man was extremely disrespectful to my wife. Making noises and hand gestures while mocking her, pointing in her face and yelling her, “that’s the pizza, take it or leave it” My wife was visibly upset about it which is uncommon for her. I confronted the man at the entrance to the kitchen where he was working. I didn’t threaten physically or verbally but I wasn’t nice about it either. He immediately PICKED UP A KITCHEN KNIFE AND STARTED WAVING IT a few inches from my face! Who I believe was his son, came over and got in front of him to calm him down. The sad part is that the son didn’t even look surprised by his behavior.

Not impressed. Overpriced, overcooked pizza that gets warmed up after sitting all day or you can have fried food. Slow service. Just disappointment.

The guy making the pizzas was so rude and treated his workers like garbage. Don’t know if he’s the owner or just an entitled jerk. Gave the workers a nice tip because I felt bad they had to deal with that. Safe to say I will not be back.
This is a total tourist trap. Food wasn't good. Service was effectively non existent. 3 Pies, 1 chicken finger/fries, 1 fry order, and 6 or 7 drinks cost $225. This is a complete and total rip off.
There are so many other better places on the boardwalk. Avoid this one.

If I could give zero stars I would. Not only is it overpriced for the quality but the staff, so rude. The older gentleman always has an attitude. There’s better pizza with better service and personal with better manners ANYWHERE else on the boardwalk. Highly recommend you go somewhere else.

Service was fine. A little under $200 for 3 pizzas, 2 fries, 3 drinks (no refill), and chicken tenders is ridiculous. Food was also subpar. They add automatic gratuity on without mentioning so on the menu. I work at a pizza place that has way higher quality food and this same meal would be a little over $100 with no gratuity required. Would never come back this should be illegal.

I wish I had a review on the pizza, but I actually just wanted to get this photo to you guys! The staff took our photo with my digital camera whilst on my bachelorette trip & we took a photo of the staff in return - I wanted to get it to you guys somehow. Excuse the quality, the digital camera is more for memories than good photos!! Thanks for being our photographer, you guys were so kind! ☺️

Just ate here for the 1st time. I felt so bad for the employees. The older man working, kept yelling and belittling the employees. This was very uncomfortable while trying to eat. We ended up leaving.

Primavera Pizza in OCNJ is another must-visit for food lovers on the boardwalk! Their massive slices are not just big—they’re absolutely delicious. Perfectly crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and great service make it a go-to spot!

Went there for a while and used to enjoy it, but recently they hid their prices and gouged the hell out of them. I witnessed a teenager be charged a ridiculous amount for some chicken tenders, they had to call their parents because they couldn’t afford it and THE WAITER WOULDN’T GIVE IN. Heartbreaking to watch. That whole practice is very shady and I’m not even sure it’s legal, never going back
To all Italians who are offered a job: it promises you an excellent salary which however will be given to you at the end of the term! But you won't get to finish the season because you'll argue with it long before and he'll send you away without giving you a single dollar! Also take advantage of the fact that by working illegally you are unlikely to report it! So if you really want to work there, agree on the pay per week! He hardly accepts because he's a cheater, but you can try!
Nice big slices at a fair price
