This place could be cool but gives me the ick! They still haven’t figured out the trashcan situation in the front entrance where there are a sea of them which were being sprayed off as we walk by. The table had bird poop on it … we had to ask the hostess to clean it off since she was just going to put the placemats on top of the poop. Even after wiping it, it seemed like it was covered in black mold. The napkins had good crusted on them. The food was just meh, we were turned off by everything else. The server was prompt but they ran out of apple juice so she just brought orange juice instead … will not be returning. Here are receipts …

This is been our second time here and the first time we sat outside at the tables that were in the sand. It was a fun atmosphere. This time it was a bit windy so we sat outside up top. The food was delicious and the tea really hit the spot in the chilly weather.

Took my wife for breakfast. Ordered breakfast sandwich. Food was very greasy and expensive. Service was excellent. I knew it would be expensive because of the ocean and beach view but $40 for 2 breakfast sandwiches, 1 coffee, and tip is to much.

Hours listed say that this restaurant closes at 3 pm. We showed up at 1:40 pm and they said they were no longer seating tables? Bummer

what a beautiful place! I loved the avocado cucumber crab wrap. so refreshing and delicious
We were excited for the reopening and enjoyed walking/biking to brunch. We didn’t mind waiting to a point and it was nice there were seats and some umbrellas for shade. We were told it would be 30 minutes, but it was an hour wait and for some reason they don’t seat anyone while they “switch over for lunch” which was at least 20 minutes. There seemed to be a lot of confusion. They took phone numbers but if you weren’t within ear shot they didn’t call you. I saw at least 4-5 groups get called and skipped over without a phone call. They also said no breakfast would be served after the lunch switch (after we had already waited for 30 minutes), but after several parties expressed concern, the hostess checked and said we could still get breakfast. One group left after waiting quite a while before the information had been corrected. When we were finally seated, the wind blew a cup of water off a nearby table and onto my husband. A bus boy lost a second cup of water that got all over my husband and daughter and a waitress spilled soda on the table beside us. It was a very windy day, but there has to be some way to better accommodate and avoid accidents. Another concern was that there were many items unavailable (crab cakes, dips, short ribs). I’d prefer knowing that when you leave your name so you don’t wait an hour before knowing the menu limitations. My daughter also asked about smoothies (listed on the building) and was told “I don’t know why that’s there, we’ve never served smoothies.” Overall, it was a disappointment. I’d like to think a lot of these things can be adjusted and improved, but we likely won’t return.

Hostess’s attitude could use serious improvement. No high chairs for those with young children which is crazy in this town. Food was average but expensive even by OCNJ standards. Will stick to other options on the part of the island. Love DeadEnd but will not return here.

Went for lunch beautiful day to be outside to eat! Wait, was about 10 minutes at 1:30 during the week. The fish tacos would have been good if they had more fish in them. One only had a small nugget of mahi mahi.sad. The waffle fries were cold, which made them unappetizing. All staff very pleasant and polite but I feel like some training on menu items would be beneficial.
We will probably try breakfast. But guys add some fish to your tacos!
