Three generations owned gelato and Taffy store. A place on the boardwalk you must stop into. The gelato is presented the same way they do in italy. It's handmade on premises. They are super friendly and very knowledgeable about how it's made.

I ordered the banana/vanilla and a Lemon sorbet/berry sorbet all four flavors were phenomenal and priced well. Salt Water taffy selection was great and was able to pick every flavor I wanted to try for under $5 which was great.

They have a good variety of gelato flavors. I had the NY Cheesecake flavor and it was delicious! It was smooth and creamy with the perfect consistency. I can't wait to go back and try ALL of the flavors!

I love their pineapple flavor, it brings me back to the summers of my childhood , when I would sit on the balcony of our family condo, and eat pineapple flavored ice cream with my family.

Although the gelato didn't taste bad, it was way too soft and melted as soon as it was put in a cup. It was a melty mess that wound up on the boardwalk, our clothes, and our hands. Wouldn't buy it again from them.

If it weren't for Amorino (gelato chain in EU), I would have given this 5 stars. The NY Cheesecake gelato was creamy and delicious. I would get it again in a heartbeat.
Great Gelato. The prices were good and they had a lot of flavors to choose from. Seemed very fresh. Really good abs enjoyable.

The gelato is great! If you make a visit to OCNJ (particularly Shriver’s Taffy, they’re the same company) please stop here. I recommend Banana, but get what you want.
