Stopped here on a rainy Sunday in the off season. There was no one in line although a crowd had gathered waiting for their orders. I placed an order for two lattes with nominal modifications, seemingly with no issues. However, after a LONG time had passed with the drinks not coming out, I asked the barista for an update. She mumbled something about the worker at the register not doing something correctly, then walked away without assisting me or giving me any other information. 35 minutes later, a new barista finally gave me our drinks. They were utterly horrible. Burnt, flavorless, and undrinkable in every way. We spend over $2,500/year at Starbucks (not this one) and by far this is the worst our drinks had ever been prepared. It's as if the barista let the shots sit for a long time before putting them in the milk, and the entire flavor profile was wrong. Example, one drink we ordered was a mocha with an extra shot of espresso. Upon reviewing our receipt, they rang it up as a mocha with only one pump of chocolate (for a venti). Add burnt espresso to 21 oz of milk and only one pump of chocolate, and no wonder it tasted so horrible. Our other latte was a blonde vanilla latte. The barista rang it up as a Pike Place latte with, again, only one pump of vanilla. Not even remotely close to what I ordered, and then to add burnt espresso on top! It wasn't as if the store was insanely busy and they were rushed (which honestly isn't an excuse for this but would at least be an explanation). Today we literally donated $16 to this store with no redeemable qualities to show for it. And we wasted almost 40 minutes, then still had to go find a local coffeehouse. What's worse, they have no incentive to care because they know new customers will always come because they expect consistency from Starbucks. We'll be thinking twice before trusting unfamiliar Starbucks locations again. Absolutely horrific.

It's Starbucks, so you know what you are getting. Consistency from nj to California. Sucks that all the spots to get coffee on the boardwalk are absolutely terrible. If you are a shop owner reading this I probably tried your coffee and it was disgusting. This Starbucks is consistent and clean. Moved fast getting me out and on my way.

Go to Ocean City Coffee Co. Don't support this gross fast food chain, especially when there is a delicious, good, local family-owned coffee shop a block up.

If zero stars was an option then I would choose that. I have had an issue every day so far. They don't know what light ice means or when I asked them to warm up my banana bread they serve it to me in the package still not warmed up. My pink drink was almost filled to the top with ice when I asked for light ice. The first day I went they had no base for the pink drink so I asked for a cup of milk and was never refunded the difference. It kind of reminds me of some group of middle school kids trying to open up their own business without any experience or knowledge. It's pretty rare to have a problem like this at Starbucks. I could not go there today. Too stressful.

Starbucks is a big company, and should hire more employees. The line is short, but I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to assist me. They should consider having someone assigned to the register and the rest doing drinks and food. Don’t need to save money hiring less employees.

As an employee of Starbucks i am highly disappointed in this location. I ordered my venti iced coffee with extra cream and the barista handed me a grande iced coffee with barely any cream. And that wasn’t even the worst part. The worst part of my experience was the drink itself wasn’t even mixed which isn’t how the recipe calls for it to be. After that i had to go back up and get the drink remade because it was that bad and it wasn’t even the correct size. I went up to the barista and she said she would have it remade for me. The second time i got my drink even though it was the correct size it still wasn’t made to standard. There wasn’t the correct amount of cream still and the drink was unmixed even though i asked for it to be stirred (which should be standard if these baristas were making drinks the way they should be made) I was still disappointed with the drink i received after getting it remade but i just had to deal with it and i left. If i am paying 5 dollars for an iced coffee i at least expect it to be made correctly and this starbucks couldn’t even do that. Worst starbucks i have ever been to and the manager has to retrain the employees to follow the proper starbucks protocol. I will not be coming back.

waited here for 40 mins… the service was really slow and i saw new batches of customers come in and out in the same time. Made the drink completely wrong and made new customers a priority other than ours. Employees were really confused, was my first experience here after intentionally avoiding it when i come down to the beach. I will never come to this Starbucks for this reason.

Arrived before 4pm on Friday 4/14 as was told they were closed. Hours listed indicate 5pm closing. What's up with that?

Starbucks is known to add more ice then needed. The first time I went here I forgot to order light ice for my drink. So my drink was filled to the brim with just ice. I got a venti and it was the size of a grande liquid wise. So I came back again and ordered with light ice and still got a drink filled with ice with barley any liquid. I guess the staff didn't have enough liquid so they stuffed ice into my drinks. Next time I'll bring my own ice and order drinks without any since clearly I gotta pay 20 dollars for a drink with more ice than liquid.
