We arrived at 7 am for an early breakfast after a sunrise walk on the beach. Menu looked delicious and surroundings inviting. HOWEVER..... after being served coffee that was as watery as tea and asking for another, stronger brewed cup it just completely went down hill. I ordered the the salmon eggs benedict but was told they were out of salmon, no biggie...got bacon instead. But when served there was NO HOLINDASE SAUCE. I then asked for the sauce and was served an ice cold serving of the sauce.....I sent it back and asked for it to be heated up....WHY DID I HAVE TO ASK??? My fiancée' s breakfast was cold but he was hungry so we just stayed and ate an awful breakfast. I honestly don't know if management was on vacation or what but clearly there was some guidance needed for all the young servers present. Looked great but sadly disappointed. Will be back in Ocean City in two week and will be skipping the Starfish Cafe, suggest you do the same!

Great location, cute cafe, but food is bad. They were out of rye toast...hello, you are a breakfast cafe! How are you out of toast. I ordered an Omelette, that said "3 eggs", and I call BS on that. Maybe one egg highly diluted with water, barely an egg taste. Don't waste your money.

This place was perfect for a morning munch! I had the lemon ricotta pancakes and a green juice. Yum! The prices were really great too. The servers were very polite and friendly. There’s plenty of nicely spaced seating, outdoor tables, and sweet “tucked away” ambience. Granted it’s surrounded by parking lots, but i hardly even noticed. Next thing you know, you’re able to walk right to the boardwalk and beach! Will be returning for more!!!

Food isn’t amazing. Good location and not too crowded.

Take out experience was not good. Ordered spaghetti and meat balls. Barely any sauce. Was supposed to have a salad and grated cheese with it. Got neither. Grankids had pancakes, with no syrup included. And the list goes on. Their menu is unfocused and poorly executed.

Cute local restaurant with traditional breakfast and lunch fare but with healthy options. Food was always great service not so much BUT coming here today the service was amazing. All staff super attentive and we were in and out in 1/2 hour. Love to see a business improve. Keep up the good work we will be back everyday for breakfast (smoothie, wheatgrass shot and breakfast sandwich).

Well, we were the only ones there for dinner and should have known. My chicken was way overcooked, they cooked the wrong thing for one of us (and the recooked burger was way overdone). My daughters pancakes were pretty dry. Sorry would avoid….

My friends and I went to Starfish Cafe for lunch and were extremely disappointed. The food was really expensive considering it was pretty inedible and the furthest thing from fresh. The food looked and tasted as though it was a week old. Would tell people to avoid this place.

Loved this little cafe by the boardwalk! Not only is their regular breakfast great, but it's one of the only places in the area with vegan options. With a short walk from the beach it's definitely a place to check out and revisit!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options

Kid-friendliness: Great beachside and friendly environment

Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp into the cafe straight from the sidewalk

Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian options

The food was delicious! When we arrived they were short on staff so the wait for my meal was almost an hour. None of the food came out together so I told the rest of my party to eat while their meals were hot, my meal was the last out. I had the spinach ravioli (delicious)and a field green salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette that was so tasty.

Nice location. The food was nothing special. They were out of aioli for my crab cake sandwich; it and my husband's fish tacos were okay.

Waited over a half hour for two cheesesteaks. Must have sat as they were barely warm. And we ordered with fried onions, and they were served with roasted peppers. We’re they busy? No - we came in at 7:55, nobody else waiting.

Pricey for such small portions. $3.75 for a side of bacon consisting of 2 pieces of bacon - unacceptable!

Prices ridiculously high for the quality of food.Margarita pizza advertised with mozzarella, homemade sauce, basil. It was none of this. It was a greasy, cheap, cheese pizza. The large fry was small, soggy and very sad looking. I’m not even going to start with the overpriced grilled cheese that was extra to add pieces of fatty ham.Nice employees, but not worth it. Spend your money elsewhere.

I wanted to take my husband out for Father’s Day and he wanted to try this place, saying it was a cute little place. We first get in there it seems nice. The girls were pleasant. We order our food which was pricey. Out comes his coffee and there is no sugar to be found. My hot tea comes out and for the size and price of that I should have brought my own. He had to ask for sugar and a spoon. One sip and he returned the coffee; he said it was like drinking coffee flavored water.Food comes out. The scrapple was small and mush! The omelet was less to be desired! While sitting there we witness several others dissatisfied customers and as we were leaving another person was returning a sand which. It was our first and last visit.
