After spending the day at Longport Dog Beach, we were fortunate to find the perfect spot to unwind with our family and our dog — Varsity Inn. The experience was beyond what we expected. The restaurant offers outdoor seating with high-top stools that give you the feeling of dining inside, all while enjoying the open air.
The food was excellent, and the service was even better — friendly, attentive, and welcoming to both people and pets. Our dog was treated like a guest, with fresh water and treats brought right to our table.
There aren’t many truly pet-friendly spots in the area, so finding a place that combines great food, a comfortable atmosphere, and genuine hospitality toward pets made this a perfect ending to our day. Highly recommended for dog owners looking for a quality dining experience!

it was bad because they’re misleading what they had online was different than what they had on the real menu basically it sucked We all had to order only Appetizers Cause we didn’t like the food

We got takeout of their tomato soup! It was OUTSTANDING, the best tomato soup we’ve ever had, ever. The croutons they provided were so delicious, and the cheese that they also included was a perfect fit. The soup itself was so creamy and thick, and it was perfectly flavored. I could eat this soup every day!!! Highly recommend, you’ll never have a tomato soup this good

Hasn’t changed in years … that’s a good thing. Not fancy, just good food for reasonable prices (nowadays). We had the Taylor Pork Roll sandwich and a BLT (with Jersey tomatoes) and a cup of tomato soup (loaded with melted cheese). All good!

Our family loves it here ... food is crafted with care, it's something you can actually taste. Good portion size for the $$$. We love the breakfast and the kids can't get enough of the french toast and waffles with fruit!

We ordered a cheese omelette with fried onions and boardwalk Benedict. They were both ok, didn’t wow us and lacked flavor. Location and atmosphere were great, cool looking around at all the universities. Kamryn was our server and she was great.

Had the best service in town. Sat with a very large party today, our server I believe Chris was very attentive and made sure all of our orders were right. The red white and blue pancakes were good. My son said the Mickey Mouse chocolate chip pancake was the best ever.

Weather we went for breakfast or lunch, there's no bad time to eat at Varsity Inn. Excellent food, amazing service at reasonable prices. We'd always go whenever we're in OC, especially to have the tomato soup -- AMAZING!

The French toast was wet in the middle. They didn't have Nutella. And the waitress never asked if everything was ok with our meals or if we wanted a refill on our coffee or just to see how our food order was..
