We have been going to Wards Pastry for several decades and absolutely love their cakes! We also like their cookies, donuts, pastry. I saw a negative review and had to comment that I did not agree with them. We have tried other bakeries in town and their cakes have been dry and tasteless. Our family all give Wards a Thumbs Up! The woman serving me coughed into her hand and then asked what I wanted to purchase. I wanted to pick out cookies, and when I saw she wasn't using gloves, I asked if she would do that. She just stormed away and said angrily to the other employee, "You serve her." In a time of COVID, food handlers should certainly wear gloves or wash hands after coughing.

went there today for the first time. the donut was amazing with a heaping serving of icing. and the lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful . cant wait to go back for another donut visit !!!

A smallish bakery but... a real bakery. Fresh made goods and a pretty good selection. Some items may sell out early. I stop in every day that I'm in OC. Our favorites are the turnovers, danish and the butter cake. Note... cash only.
