“Cool place to hang and watch a game. Seats were comfortable and newer than the rest of the park. Historic facilities and in need of an upgrade to attract people to return. Grounds were clean and the restrooms were spotless. Staff was helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking and lot is under a lot of construction. Definitely will be back.“

“I was here when they first opened. it was not really "for me". Recently tried it again and loved it. I am vegetarian and my friend is vegan. we found options. Really enjoyed the eggplant sandwich. Would love more options (saw on one of the burger challenges a portobello on a burger, so loose the beef and just do the portobello) then I would definitely be there more often. Plan to check out the events that they have in the winter. So nice to have a quality and nice place locally to go out to at night.“

“Crashed a private event and it was just my style. Might be stuffy in comparison to the bar around the corner, but otherwise seems like first class classical music and comfy couches for a celebratory drink. Can't comment on the food.

“my husband and I have been coming to mjs for years whether it's for a lunch date or dinner with our kids MJS never disappoints. the food is always on point, no matter what we get it is always delicious. a few top favorites chicken Italiano sandwich, their homemade thousand island dressing for salads is out of this world, french dip is the best i've ever had. ahi tuna app to dye for! if ur lucky enough to get Emma as your server or Bartender you will not be disappointed she is always so personable attentive knows the menu really well and makes a mean expresso martini! she treats our kids like gold and keeps them entertained. Mjs is a well oiled machine run by the best manager I've ever seen. “Just had my wedding there and from the very beginning all the staff have been very helpful and responsive. I had a fantastic experience. My dream was to have a beach wedding and due to unexpected weather right before my ceremony we had to change plans and they were great and said they would do whatever I wanted to were super compassionate and helpful. The food and drink selection was awesome. Drinks were not lacking in the alcohol department and the plates were plentiful. “Been going to Max’s since I was kid & they were on the Boardwalk. Still the best hot dog I’ve ever had. Also love their crispy onion rings, steak fries, zucchini fries & sweet potato fries. Other menu items look good however I cannot go to Max’s without getting their famous hot dog!“

“Initially, I searched online for a place that served lobster roll and this place came up, but upon arriving there and browsing the menu, lobster roll was not listed, so perhaps it's only a special on occasion. This place was recommended from our AirBnb host, and the other menu options looked great, so we stayed and had lunch anyway. I enjoyed my Bar A's Brisket Sandwich, which on the menu mentioned came with horseradish sauce and au jus. However, when it came to the table, it did not come with those described condiments, so I had to ask our server for both, and received them quickly with no hassle.
We arrived around 11am and it seems this place has it's regulars. The one positioned directly by the entrance was very quick to offer the four women who walked in some cocktails on his tab. We politely declined the drink and we resumed the rest of our visit without any issues from the other guests. If you like that kind of familiar atmosphere, then I would say they seem open and friendly to anyone who is a visiting patron.
My friend ordered the sliders and said they were the best she's had in her life.
Prices were definitely reasonable.“
