Deal Lake Bar + Co. Reviews
We were there yesterday with a large party and had a great time watching the games. We sat outside and our server, Allie, was really on her game. We wanted for nothing all day. The food and drink selection was awesome. Drinks were not lacking in the alcohol department and the plates were plentiful. They also had some creative non-alcoholic options that a few of our friends enjoyed. Looking forward to the next time we can get back. I also loved that the place is dog friendly!
We had a group of around 20 at DLB+C today. Service was scattered and slow, food was mediocre. I had corned beef hash and poached eggs and the eggs were underdone (whites were still liquid), the corned beef hash was long strings of meat instead of finely chopped pieces. Included toast wasn't toasted. Nice enough ambience but several in our party were not impressed by the food. We won't be going back anytime soon unless we hear there has been a change of management and staff.
We’ve given this place a couple of tries since it opened but unfortunately received the same poor results. First, the service is painfully slow and obviously disorganized. Deal Lake Bar + Co. offers a good selection of food, with many customers enjoying salads and soups like tomato bisque and French onion soup. The restaurant sometimes struggles with accuracy, leading to incomplete orders or small mistakes like a cheeseless cheesesteak. Despite these issues, the staff is gracious and apologetic, providing friendly service that creates a lively and great vibe, especially during DJ/music events. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, making it a family-friendly place. There are two bar areas for adult gatherings and communal spaces for meeting new people. The outdoor dining along the water with pretty string lights adds to the charm, and many guests appreciate the dog-friendly environment. Customers have praised attentive servers, with some mentioning that the place is perfect for watching games on the patio or enjoying live music. While there may be long wait times for food or reservations, the overall experience remains excellent. The food is described as just fine, but plates like salads, soups, and the tuna nachos (though sometimes overwhelmed by sauce) are enjoyed. The restaurant is a popular spot to return to, especially during warm weather to enjoy the outdoor setting.
