“We were there yesterday with a large party and had a great time watching the games. We sat outside and our server, Allie, was really on her game. We wanted for nothing all day. The food and drink selection was awesome. Drinks were not lacking in the alcohol department and the plates were plentiful. They also had some creative non-alcoholic options that a few of our friends enjoyed. Looking forward to the next time we can get back. I also loved that the place is dog friendly!“

“Casual Bayside eatery. Food good generally. Apps pretzel and Caesar salad favorites. Steak sandwich flavor good but some pieces of steak tough and chewy. Shrimp with Linguini excellent, spicy pepperoni pizza very good. Burger solid choice. We didn't have cocktails but many people around us were drinking.“

“First visit to Route 35 Bar & Liquor in Ocean Township. They're located at 1107 Highway 35, across from Wegman's, and opened in August, 2025. They are open 7 days a week, from 10AM-11PM. I had seen an Instagram review of the place, liked how the food looked, and it did not disappoint.

They're a full-service liquor store with a medium-size sports bar inside (that seats about 30, I think), and a nice, compact food menu, featuring appetizers, burgers, wings, bar pizza, and more. The place is staffed with very friendly, attentive bartenders/servers, and serves some excellent food.

Pictured: their All-American burger, an 8-ounce juicy patty packed with flavor, served with bacon, pickles, lettuce, American cheese, and tomatoes. The tomatoes surprised me for how flavorful and juicy they were this early in the year. Choice of crinkle-cut or straight-cut fries, all for $12. They also offer an 8-ounce smashburger at the same price.

Their wings are large, and very juicy. The ones shown were coated in a sticky, sweet, delicious chili sauce. Three wetnaps/multiple napkins needed to keep clean along the way. 6 wings for $9, or 12 for $15.

They have a beef or chicken cheesesteak sub, and shown here is the version with shaved chicken, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and American cheese, on a sub roll with a soft crust that has a nice chew to it. Very nice mix of flavors, and it's very filling, without being messy. Either version is $12, and is served with fries. (The fries shown with both orders were requested to be 'well-done'.)

“We have been going to HW in Manasquan for many many years, they never disappoint. I was in Robbinsville and thought why not have lunch at their new location there. I was very and thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is very cool and a great vibe. How they pulled off a mix cozy with a sports bar atmosphere is impressive. The service was great. Lila our server, was attentive and pleasant. The menu is deep but not too confusing. Steaks, Sandwiches, Seafood, they offer a wide variety for anyone taste. Our food was delicious. It's a hidden gem. I would recommend you get there and experience it for yourself before word gets out. Otherwise you will need reservations. Parking is abundant with reserved spaces for HW. “Initially, I searched online for a place that served lobster roll and this place came up, but upon arriving there and browsing the menu, lobster roll was not listed, so perhaps it's only a special on occasion. This place was recommended from our AirBnb host, and the other menu options looked great, so we stayed and had lunch anyway. I enjoyed my Bar A's Brisket Sandwich, which on the menu mentioned came with horseradish sauce and au jus. However, when it came to the table, it did not come with those described condiments, so I had to ask our server for both, and received them quickly with no hassle.
We arrived around 11am and it seems this place has it's regulars. The one positioned directly by the entrance was very quick to offer the four women who walked in some cocktails on his tab. We politely declined the drink and we resumed the rest of our visit without any issues from the other guests. If you like that kind of familiar atmosphere, then I would say they seem open and friendly to anyone who is a visiting patron.
My friend ordered the sliders and said they were the best she's had in her life.
Prices were definitely reasonable.“
