Skinny Flowers Brewing Company

Skinny Flowers Brewing in Oceanport is just down the road from Birdsmouth and offers a bright, modern, and a upscale feel. The taproom is well designed with big bay doors that open on warm days, giving it a relaxed, airy feel. The lineup covers solid IPAs, sours, and a crisp pilsner, but the standout for me was the Flat White Pale Coffee Beer made with Booskerdoo coffee — smooth, balanced, and just the right coffee kick. The brewery is family-friendly too, with a small kids’ play area thats divided from the main taproom and bar.

Nice brewery in Fort Monmouth! Plenty of parking. Plenty of seating (bar stools, picnic tables, and regular chairs). Almost 20 different beer options. TVs playing sports. Modern atmosphere but not cookie cutter

Excellent brewery with a great atmosphere! The IPAs I've tried so far were really good too. The staff was friendly and the QR codes at the table were convenient. I've already been here a few times with the fam, including my kids who enjoy the social aspect and are always seated and not disruptive to any other patrons. I did note there was another review on here saying that kids should be banned from breweries which is obviously bad policy and would result in losing customers with well-behaved families. Granted irresponsible parents who can't control their kids should be asked to leave without question. Anyway, will definitely be coming back!

Place is awesome. Solid IPAs, Lagers, Ale and more. As a group of 6 adults with 6 kids we were able to find a table, have food delivered, and have a good time without ever feeling we were causing problems or being rushed. Great staff who were easy to engage with. A great spot to come as a pair or group.

Nice new micro brewery located in the old Fort Monmouth now part of the new Netflix complex. My favorite brew was the German style helles beer! Kid and dog friendly!
Heavy on the IPA’’s which, I’m not a big fan hence a 4 star rating. I will be back!!!

I have friends in the area and they kept telling me about Skinny Flowers. Flew all the way from South Florida just to try them out, and the hype is real! Great beer made by great people in a very family friendly environment. Once you go there, Hey Ollie and Idyllic are a must! From their rotating options (Sep 2025) I'd recommend the Bayern and Gothic Elements, a colab with Booskerdoo. Will definitely come back more times!

Good beer, great atmosphere but wth is up with dogs and kids in brewerys. Brewerys please nix this. Dogs aren't having fun, kids aren't having fun and your customers who don't bring their kids and have to listen to screaming aren't either. Start the trend.

Very chill vibe. Open air brewery, plenty of seating. Good music, nice crowd. They have a 21 plus plush seating area. No outside seating. In the former Fort Monmouth. Beers are real solid for new place. They had an excellent colab with Icarus Brewing. Looks like new restaurants and the like nearby. That’s good as the pizza place we ordered from was roller rink style. I think this will be a hot spot as they grow.
