As a person who grew up in NYC and is Latina, I can attest to the authenticity of the flavors of the Mexican food here. Their empanadas are packed with flavor and are stuffed with delicious chicken or beef. Plus, they are a sold at a bargain. The tamales are exceptional as well, my fave are the chicken mole ones. The people who work there are so kind and humble. The place is very humble as well. This is a “mom and pop” kind of place you’d find in Brooklyn. I’ve only done take out there : )

Nice hidden gem for authenthic mexican food and spanish appetizers like empanadas, croquettes, and rice balls.
Best place around. Belly Busters with home fries, delicious. Empanadas, untouchable. Potato pancakes, burritos, you name it, they will not disappoint. I promise.
