Small, very cozy, neighborhood coffee shop. Seems like coffee is made using best traditions of European coffee makers. Therefore their latte and cappuccino are very flavourful and not bitter a tiny bit. Up to me, this place is best to stop in a middle of a weekend to have a cup of joe and relax.

My first visit for a simple iced matcha with oat milk.I asked the barista which brand of matcha they were using, she couldn’t answer “she said it’s a paper bag” (you guys are a coffee shop and don’t know what are you serving).I am not even talking about the brand of Oat milk they are using.I really want to like the place but I can’t , my drink taste like oil fish and the Matcha is floating on the bottom of my drink.

Great coffee, great tunes, great service.Ordered an iced snickerdoodle latte and loved it! Such a cute local gem of a coffee house!

Have the right equipment but the “barista” definitely need some lessons in how to make coffee - ie. V60 pour over, done by sight vs. weight, not pre-rinsing the filter or heating up cup first. Also could use more selection of medium to light single origin roast. Has potential but still ways to go before at a level for a serious coffee drinker.

Benny lives for his morning joe! This coffee shop is our favorite. Pour overs are hard to find ( we know they are a pain but the coffee is so much better!) and they do them so well! And there are do many roasts to choose from. Not to mention the girls here are all so sweet and they are so good to Benny (our frenchie). We feel so lucky to have this gem right in town!

Unwelcoming coffee spot. Good coffee. Been there twice - both times dead quiet. No music or white noise. Wierd detail but it was noticeable, especially when service is unfriendly.

“Caffeine: The science of Coffee” is a very attractive and serious speciality coffee shop. They show a lot of love in the way they display their beans and gear, and the servers are very friendly. It feels nice being there.Prominently displayed is a “chemistry lab-like” row of pour over cones. Very appealing, so I asked for a large light Colombian pour over. I wasn’t very happy with the beverage I received. It was under-extracted, so it lacked the flavor in their fine beans, but that’s only because the technique they used needs some development. The servers behind the counter have a great attitude. When I flashed them a Youtube video of international pour over champion Tetsu Kasuya, they got very excited and thought it was “cool,” which it is! I also mentioned the great British coffee expert James Hoffmann and his technique. I think a week of learning and dedication will yield an very good beverage, potentially excellent, even great, and Caffeine will become known for its pour overs. Not many places do pour overs, so I’m rooting for them to excel.I recommend that management invest in an induction surface unit to keep the pot hot while waiting for the next infusion. So, whether they adopt the method of Kasuya, Hoffmann, or someone else, they can put “Caffeine” on the Tri-State Pourover map.I wish the business and its employees much success.

Great coffee. Perfect temperature for immediate drinking. Not lava temp mouth blistering.

Mmm....I'm not so sure about this place. The coffee isn't sophisticated and the service not very attentive. The foam in my cappuccino was laughable and the drink itself was not properly sized. The servers also aren't so knowledgeable about the products which isn't a comforting. The problem is this is one of the only cafes close to us...hoping Oradell downtown improves!

I love this place! Everyone who works there is nice. They have a few different dairy free milk options. I tried the "Blue Devil" off the Spring specials. It's all natural with blue pea powder. So tasty and fun. I also got a vegan packaged bar.
