This place is wonderful! The shop is cozy and inviting. One of the owners, Meghan, helped walk me through choosing the perfect cake for my daughter's birthday. I chose the strawberry champagne and I was not disappointed. The cake was delicious and beautifully decorated. The buttercream frosting was not too sweet, perfectly complimented the cake. I also couldn't resist buying some cupcakes. I got the carrot cake, funfetti and Oreo...absolutely amazing! Can I add too that they are reasonably priced? I definitely will come back again. The crispy edge, soft center, and amazing taste of these chocolate chip cookies have brought joy and happiness to my little one’s life. We were just gifted the Holiday box set and oh man...SO SCRUMPTIOUS! I wanted to eat it all but you know, sharing is caring.lol. I'm a sucker for a good chocolate cookie and theirs is sooo good. You know everything else will be good if the "simple"chocolate chip cookie is something I can have 10 of with no regret. I also had the rice krispie treat and macaroon. Both devoured in a second. It's not overly sweet and love that it has the great home made taste and feel to it. My friend LOVED the s'mores blondie. Highly recommend your next gift to someone or for yourself The Modern Cakery!
