The restaurant was completely redone from the Old Charlie Brown's that was there for years. Nice menu with everything from pizza, sandwiches and burgers to a variety of entrees of meats and seafood. I ordered the salmon, which was fresh and well prepared, although a little small, especially for the $32 price tag. My biggest issue was that the tables are too close together, making the noise level too much. The service was excellent and everyone there from the valet, hostess and servers ate all friendly and professional, I would go again but would try a time that would be less busy and hopefully not as noisy,
Called in for a reservation for an anniversary and they got me a table very quickly. Food and drinks were really good. Got complementary champagne for the occasion, was a great experience. Big thank you for Serafim Kolokithas for making it a good time.
We made reservations for Father's Day. The servers are very courteous. Jaime is excellent! Very courteous and always checks on us. The food servings is generous and delicious! Their price is fair enough. I definitely recommend Oak House!
Great place for drinks! The vibe is cool, calm and welcoming.
Our whole group loved the ambience, food and staff was friendly and attentive.
Great place to relax. Noise isn't too loud. I was able to carry a conversation with my guests without difficulty. Food was great. Have to go back to sample other dishes. Waitress was very attentive.
Can't remember the name of the young lady who waited on us, but she was fantastic. Will love to come back primarily due to her excellent customer service skills.
The food here is pretty good, but the service was abysmal. I had been once before, and the service was very slow then, but wanted to give them a second chance because we enjoyed the food. Will not be going back after this.
We ordered 4 appetizers for the table, three separate times the waitress came back to let us know they were out of an item. So 3 out of 4 apps ordered they were out of. It took over an hour and a half for us to get all of the appetizers - they brought out one at a time, with huge gaps of time in between. Then we finally got to the salad course, and a few minutes after we got our salads, they tried to bring out our entrees, so we had to rush through the salads. One person’s entree was cold and had to be taken back. They were also slow to refill water glasses, take away dirty plates from the table, etc.
For a party of 8, we were there for about 3 hours in total, most of it spent waiting. The restaurant wasn’t even crowded, many open tables. We first expressed our frustrations to the server, who said she understood and would try to make things better, but that didn’t do much since the slowness continued. We then escalated our concerns to the manager, who was not even apologetic. He was just defensive and made it seem like we just don’t understand how restaurants are run. Definitely disappointing.
Great food and atmosphere
This place was excellent. Reservations are recommended, even during the week. Luckily, we came early on a Thurs night and they let us have a table for an hour before the reservation arrived. The food was excellent. The clam chowder soup was so large, it's a whole meal in itself - and the burgers were cooked perfectly. The wait staff were all very pleasant but they weirdly kept changing staff on us - not sure if it was because they squeezed us in. There is a very nice, fine dining vibe inside and the restaurant was decorated beautifully and was much larger than appears from the exterior. The valet parking was super convenient.

We finally made it here it's been on our list to try we loved the atmosphere the service was outstanding My wife had shrimp and rissoto she loved it I had a perfectly cooked steak We will definitely be coming.back soon
We usually come here for special occasions and it's always a pleasant experience. Very nice restaurant and no matter what we order it's always delicious.
The buffet was overall acceptable. The ziti was delicious and the salmon was very good. The chicken and beef were dry. There was a nice variety of foods. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. A 20% tip was added to the bill for a buffet! Not entirely sure I'll be returning any time soon based on pricing and the added tip.
Overall it is a good restaurant. The food and service were excellent and it was decorated very nicely HOWEVER I have one minor and one major issue that took away from the dinning experience. First the minor, nitpick one. You wanna park in the lot, it's valet only. Conceptually I under the desire to create an upscale experience, but I'm in Oradell. Secondly, and this definitely hurts restaurant is the noise level. It was just too loud. Normally noise doesn't bother me because I'm deaf in one ear so if it's loud for me you know it's loud. Hard to hold a conversation and strangly had music piped in on top of crowd noise level. It has the look, the feel, the menu, the service and food of an upscale experience but the noise level really brought that down. Normal noise level this is a 4.5 star experience but I can only go 3.5 because of the noise level. I'm not saying don't go, but just be aware. If on a romantic date maybe try some place else.
Excellent food, great service. Hostess couldn't have been more accommodating since two people were running 20 minutes late for our reservation. The only criticism is the noise level, but it was a full house at 7:00 on a Saturday night, so it's understandable.
