Used to visit them at their original location in Hackettstown until they closed due to rent increase. Heard about the new location and yeah found him. Got myself a favorite pizza spot again.
Had a fresh pie made. Great crust thin, like a cross between NY style and cracker wafer thin, no flop, airy firm. The sauce is just as it was, not as acidic like others in the area which is what we like. Quality cheese.
Price is better than others in the Hackettstown, Washington area too.
Our old go-to is back closer again!

Flavorless pizza under cooked even though I asked it to be well done. Asked for extra pepperoni on it I got exactly 12 pepperoni's on r entire pie but was still charged for extra. I would without question rather heat up ELLIOS frozen pizzas then eat here. Wife got a cheese steak and yet again not disappointed in how bad it was. If I could give it negative stars I would have. Couldn't give me a free pie id turn it down respectfully.

I have never been to Roman Pizza in person, and I have not tried any food dishes, other than a chicken cutlet Parmesan sub/hero ONCE! So, don’t have MUCH to go by. The sub was OK, but the chicken was not a whole piece of chicken…It was kind of too processed for me. Meaning maybe they pounded it down too many times to make it tender and make it stretch. I like a whole chicken cutlet. That’s what I look for, and pay for. As far as the pizza goes. In my opinion, it was pretty good, but I am a NYC person and of course in my eyes, there is no better place for that. But, I must say their cheese calzone was absolutely superb! I did order the pizza and definitely the calzone twice. That is a must try. I wish I can elaborate more on the dinners or specialties, but maybe next time! BUT DEFINITELY TRY THEIR CALZONE! That was really excellent, so I’m saying it again! Either way, I would definitely rate them a 4 or even a 4 and a half out of 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I give Roman Pizza four stars, not for the pizza, but for the welcoming service and how I was greeted when I visited this location for the first time. The location has a sitting area with several tables and has an array of items on their menu at Avery reasonable cost. The daily special is two slices and a can of coke for $5.99! The pizza slice had a good dough and made thin and crispy which are its highlight. There is plenty of cheese, however the slice did not have much flavor. It was lacking a bit of salt and spices such as oregano. Overall Roman Pizza is a good pizza location to visit when in the area that offers good food at a very reasonable price.

Are you kiddin me??? Food is good but the delivery guy was greedy,the bill came to 25 because it was a delivery,so gave the guy 40 dollars thinking he would smile and say thanks,no no! He insisted on a tip,umm THE TIP WAS IN THE 40 DOLLARS I gave him,not too smart,plus the delivery person shouldn't ask for a tip,you will lose customers that way and give other places buisness, plus I called the place and spoke to the owner and told him the same thing,he also was expecting the customer to give a tip,NEVER AGAIN will I call them for food
