Best gimbap spot in the area. I’ve been to three other nearby spots and this one is by far the tastiest. The lady who is usually working there is also the most polite and courteous person I’ve ever met. I would give five stars just for her!
It’s only take out. This is the best gimbap period. I don’t know if homemade ones could good be better than this. I’ve tried many in the area and IMHO, the gimbal here is far superior.
The gimbap here is even better than the ones I've tried in Seoul. To me, great gimbap is like great potato chips in that each piece just disappears without any conscious friction, until it's too late. The proportion of rice to ingredients, the sesame oil saturation of the gim (nori in Japanese), the tenderness/crispness balance of the vegetables, and the interplay of umami, saltiness, acidity and sweetness are delightful.
