Tasty tangsu chicken. The temperature could be hotter. The food was not brought out quickly enough.Jajang noodles could use a dash more flavor.Overall, nice job. Still miss mandarin though from years ago. ?

I went to Sam's hair next door for a haircut and thought I would try the food here since it's next to it. I had blackbean noodle and sweet sour fried pork. Ever since then, I've been throwing up all night and having terrible diarrhea. This place was the only thing I ate during that day and I believe the pork was bad. I never write reviews usually but I wanted to warn other people

We've ordered from this place multiple times since moving nearby. Their Samsung jjajangmyun, mapo tofu, and white jjambbong stand out as excellent choices. I'd never tried white jjambbong before, but it's hearty and delicious--definitely my preference over the original red, spicier version. The owner of the restaurant is incredibly sweet; every time I pick up my order, it feels like a caring elder is packing my food. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, making it a great spot for families. There are many Chinese-Korean restaurants in the area, so it's hard to choose, but the service and owner here are top-notch, a big reason why I keep coming back. Give it a try!

Really worst. We ordered it often for three years, but the sweet and sour pork smelled like old oil, the fried rice was very salty, and the jjambbong and black bean sauce we ordered didn't come out even 40 minutes after the sweet and sour pork was served. The same menu items we ordered were served to the tables of people who came later than us, and when will our food come out? When I went to the kitchen to ask, they found themselves fighting among themselves. Starting with the fact that my order was brought to the wrong table, hahahaha, it wasn't a busy time and there weren't many customers, and I went in when there were only two other tables... So, when I was about to leave after paying for the sweet and sour pork, I was told, “The sweet and sour pork is ready.” ;;; Isn't sorry first? I went out to eat with my family on the weekend and ended up feeling dirty. There is no need to go anymore.

Cordial servers, nice ambiance, speedy service. My family and I stopped by on a Sunday for lunch and were seated right away.Food left little to be desired but the servers were so kind and patient throughout the dining experience. We ordered the jjajamyung, jjampong, and tangsooyook. The noodles were too stringy and the seafood soup lacked a depth in flavor. The tsy also lacked a bit of flavor and seemed overpriced for the amount you get.Pro-tip: very limited parking. All in all, this is not our go-to Korean Chinese restaurant but the atmosphere was very nice and we did appreciate the lovely service.

Good place for Korean Chinese place, but little pricy. We order 2 noodle and 1 sweet & sour pork, and it costs about $60. The noodle sauce is very heavy (I liked it), and the noodle texture is perfect. The portion of sweet & sour pork is small (I usually get 3-4 people portion, but this one is good for 2 people). The service is great (very friendly), and they give you hot tea for free. The restaurant is very spacious, and good for group of people. They do have private parking lot. - Noodle with special black bean sauce (4/5): very heavy and deep sauce- Noodle with spicy black bean sauce (4/5): light sauce & moderate spicy- Sweet & sour pork (3/5): small portion, and average taste

Probably the only 짜장면 place I will not return to. Food was very underwhelming.

This visit was all about sweet and sour pork, and while it wasn't the best I've ever had, they delivered something respectable and more than acceptable. The dining room was empty when we rocked up on a weekday late afternoon, and it was nice to sit at a table by the window for a street view. The staff was quick and efficient, and we got a super heavy tea pot of hot barley tea in no time.Food came out without delay. I love how theirs comes with loads of veggies, even as I question the use of green beans which is a first for me (to see them in sweet and sour pork). And while it was distracting and would rather have the dish without the beans, the star of the fish, the pork, was just right and we gobbled it up. I hope they stay open for a long time.

Price is very affordable despite the location-- $9.99 for a bowl of jja jang myun. It was very heavy on the sauce so you can even add rice. We also got the fried dumplings. Overall, an okay meal that nothing really stood out. The waitresses were very nice though. Unfortunately, we had better jja jang myun...

Visiting some friends in town and some of us were in the mood for jajangmyeon. This place is was pretty popular in the k-town area for some noodles, and my friend who toured us the city said this place was pretty poppin' for noodles. The jajangmyeon as well made, the noodles were firm and had just enough bite to them. The black bean sauce and onions/bits of meat had a subtle hint of smokiness to them that really made the jajangmyeon overall more flavorful -- was seasoned very well. Would definitely recommend that as a starting point for all the black-bean based dishes.〇【Menu Items Ordered & Rating Details】・짜장면 - Noodle w/ Black Bean Sauce, $9.95(Ttl: $9.95 (tax excl.))〇【Food/Drinks: 4.0】・Good variety of Korean-Chinese dishes to select from including seafood, noodles, rice dishes, and dumplings as well. Dessert menu is also available, albeit small.〇【Service: 5.0】・Staff is very friendly and helpful -- spoke Korean and English, time to serve after ordering was short, less than five minutes. Informative about drinks when asked, patient as well.〇【Atmosphere: 4.0】・Store is well maintained and bathroom is clean, inside seating has fair spacing between tables. Lighting within the shop is a nice bright ambient setting. Parking space availability is usually street side or around the corner in one of the parking lots.〇【CP: 3.5】・Prices are about average for a bowl of jajangmyeon in the area, compared to where I usually get jajangmyeon its actually priced lower (usually 11.99 where I get mine from in TX). 〇【Misc memo】・NFC payments at the desk・Parking is street side or in a parking lot down the road

In utter shock and disbelief. Trust ya Korean girl when she says she’s tried just about every Korean-Chinese restaurant in Palisades Park and its bordering municipalities. I have trash taste buds which says a lot about me eating out all the time and wanting to leave a review for this place.Did not know 짜장면 could taste so bland and flavorless. I normally save some of the sauce as leftovers to mix with rice the next day, but I did not hesitate to throw out my entire dish after three bites. Noodles were sad, soggy, and split. So. Much. Onion. Family said the 짬뽕 and 깐풍기 were extremely salty. I'm sad that I wasted $100 and my calories on the absolute worst.
