Not only is it tasteless, it's also extremely unfriendly. I had the brisket ssambap ($49+), but it only came with 3 perilla leaves, 2 small cabbage pieces, 2 green peppers, and lettuce. When I asked for one more pepper, they told me to pay more. There were 3 side dishes (2 slices of jelly, a chopstick of pickled radish, cabbage seasoned with soybean paste, and salad), and only 2 slices of kimchi were provided. It was not enough for 2 servings. This is my first time going to such an extremely unfriendly restaurant. If you read the restaurant's excuse below, you'll get an idea of what kind of people they are. How can you say this to your guests?“If you want more side dishes, cook them at home”:(Not only is it tasteless, it's also extremely unfriendly. I ordered 2 menu items and paid a whopping $84, but when I looked at the wall next to me, I saw a combo menu where I could order 3 items for just 5 dollars more. The lady working didn't even explain the menu, and I went at 830, but at 9 o'clock, she asked me what time I would be there and gave her a cheeky look. When I asked if it closes at 10 o'clock, they said that the people working in the kitchen leave at 9:50, so what can I do? So, go out to 945? Please talk to me before ordering food. Moreover, three men were drinking at the table next to me, and the lady said, "They say that table is the owner's table... What can I do? Haha. Customers have to leave by 945 and the owner can stay up late, right?" I went there with my friends and only got criticized. Still, I submitted it often and ate it, but I will never go again.

Tasty food and clean atmosphere. The price is reasonable too.I live in New York, but I visit this place occasionally when I go to New Jersey. There is a lunch menu, and parking lot space may be limited during lunch hours.

Grilled meat on a weekend evening. Bulgogi iron plate. Personally, I liked the octopus iron plate. The warm barley tea was also good...although the amount may be a bit small for an adult male. These days, I don't think that's a drawback. I remembered the octopus plate, so I visited again last weekend. I plan to visit again when I have the chance.

Passed by this restaurant so many times and finally got to try it. You can tell it’s authentic when they automatically serve you hot tea instead of ice water. The food is very delicious and in good portion. Highly recommend the seafood pancake and stir-fried pork. We ordered three dishes for the two of us and ended up taking half of them home as dinner.

This restaurant has been a part of my Korean restaurant rotation since I moved to NJ. Having a parking lot is big plus and that’s why this place is very first restaurant I visit whenever I come back from a long vacation.Their spicy sauce is very special. Spicy octopus with udon is my go to menu when I crave spicy food. Spicy marinated crab (though somewhat pricey) is best in the area. Their signature menu is ssambap, which is consisted of seasonal assorted vegetable wraps and a protein of your choice.I don’t get bloated after eating from this restaurant. You can’t say this for most Korean restaurants.

Craving a warm authentic Korean food, we landed on BapEeRang with our large party with no wait on a Sunday night. The restaurant felt very homely and was run like a family restaurant. Most of the other guests spoke Korean. We were treated very well with great food and service despite none of us knowing Korean. The Banchan was really good - fish tofu, great kimchi, jalapeños with small fish, broccoli, and lettuce. We got the stir fried pork combo meal with kimchi stew, galbi combo meal with soybean stew, spicy octopus bibimbap dolpan (dolpan is a sizzling hot stone plate), seafood pancake, and budae jjigae (army stew). The food was absolutely fantastic - The flavor was there and my party had an amazing meal! The only thing I wished was if the army stew had tteobokki - Overall, we were very pleased with the value, quality, and tastiness of our meal. Better Korean food (and value!) than NYC Koreantown food!

This place doesn't deserve even one star. It's owner is so rude and place is dirty dirty. I have seen 2 dead flies under my seat. When I pointed out about flies, the response from owner was, " we cleaned floor this morning ". It was 8:21 pm when I noticed 2 flies

This place was a great find. It was crowded for lunch on a Friday. Service was a little slower as it seemed like there was just one server. But she was friendly although she was obviously stressed. We chose here because of the spicy blue crabs since most restaurants in that area that serve marinaded crabs do just soy sauce ones. It did not disappoint! So good. However, it's not an ideal place tocome with food allergies due to the language barrier and they didn't seem to know the ingredients.
