This place is GREAT!
We were craving for some ttukbokki and kimbop, decided to try for a new place.
Their kimbop is delicious, great fillings and well seasoned seaweed.
Ttukbokki came out nice and hot. Rice cake was nicely cooked and seasoned. But come on, look at the boiled egg, it’s not one of those overcooked yolk!!
Ramyun and udon was also delicious, noodles were done jussssssst right. I will admit that I was a little thrown off by mixed greens on ramyun.
Donkatsu was one of the best as well. Pork was just the right amount of thickness and crispy.
I also don’t feel like crap after eating the food there, not over seasoned with high sodium or MSG.
People were also great there, highly highly recommend it!

We were a group of 10 visiting from out of state & this was among the Korean joints in Koreatown that popped up. The menu & price posted on Google & their website was attractive to us so we took a gamble even though there were only 55 reviews because this place only opened up recently. We were not disappointed! I ordered their spicy bulgogi tray, which I had a big serving. My friends got other stuff in their menu, like the Kimbap + Tteokbokki + Tempura combo and the noodle soup. The combos are good for two for people because their servings are really hefty. You order on the counter & pick up your food when it's read. The food took a bit long because of our group size but we didn't mind as the ambiance was great, the food was sooooo good & the people who work there are really nice. Would definitely come back again & would recommend to others!

Small business owner. They were all kind and the atmosphere of the restaurant bought memories of bunsik places I visited when I was little in Korea.
The food itself was not bad but was more modern bunsik. Example, it seems they add ketchup into tteokbokki. Was too sweet for my liking but some may enjoy this. The kimbop was slightly sweet too.
The kimbop the veggies were slightly overcooked and just was mushy. Odang soup was by far the best.
The pros were that this place is self serve. No tip required.

I eat it in the car with fresh fruit juice and little kimbap, and it's so delicious. Very satisfied! The fresh fruit juice tasted really good, probably because they squeezed only the fruit without adding anything else, and the little kimbap reminded me of the taste I had in Korea!! 👍🏻

I lived in this town for 8 years. This is the biggest Korean town in the US, so here are all kinds of Korean food stores. Of course, there are also ‘BUNSIK’ restaurants, but they all taste like ‘something different, imitating’ Korean fast food.
I had given up on eating delicious tteokbokki, thinking I would never be able to eat it again unless I went to Korea
Then today! I FINALLY found the real tteokbokki, the taste of tearful memories..
Perfect tteokbokki taste at a reasonable price. This place is tteokbokki heaven.
For 8 years in America's largest Koreatown
Every snack restaurant, side dish restaurant, meal kit, and frozen tteokbokki in my life.
There was nothing I hadn’t tried before, but everyone said, ‘It tastes like it was made by someone who has never eaten tteokbokki in Korea.’ ㅠㅠ
Then today, while taking a walk around the neighborhood, a 5-year-old suddenly said something like this? I went in to buy kimbap and discovered a new world.
To be honest, I was hungry and wanted to just eat the little bulgogi rice bowl and bulgogi kimbap, but I also ordered spicy tteokbokki.
The taste of being rewarded for the failures of the past eight years
I cried because it tasted like perfect Korean snack food, Korean tteokbokki.
I inhaled it in an instant and wiped up the remaining sauce with kimbap.
The kid asked me first if I wanted to eat kimbap.
The sense of cutting it thinner than the original thickness🥹
It’s not just about ‘cooking’ a meal.
So that you can have a delicious meal filled with happiness and gratitude.
Thank you again for making it and for the review🥹
