Cafe Lala is a must-visit spot, especially in the morning, when they serve their own unique version of Korean gimbap. On top of that, they offer drinks and treats you won’t easily find at other cafés.

Their signature flavored coffees are always excellent, and my personal favorites are the Einspänner, grapefruit slush, and fresh strawberry milk — all absolutely delicious. And whatever you do, don’t skip the cheesecake. It’s a must-try!

At first, the staff’s manner might come across as a little curt, but regulars know the truth: the owner and staff are total tsundere types. They may not show it openly, but they have a subtle, caring way of looking after you — and it’s oddly addictive. I’ve grown to love it so much that I actually look forward to it now.

So don’t misunderstand — give it a few visits. By the third time, you’ll probably find yourself hooked on that unique “tsundere” service too.

This is my new favorite café in NJ! Their Dolce Latte is absolutely the best — I’ve been wanting to try it ever since I saw it on the Starbucks Korea menu (which we don’t get here in the States), and I finally found it at this gem of a place.

I also tried their Lala Toast, spicy tuna kimbap, and egg sandwich — everything was spot on and so delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and cute, and the whole café is very clean and well maintained. I can definitely see myself becoming a regular here!
Oh and the grapefruit slushhhhhh!!!!!!
It's the bestest 😍 💕 💛 💓

This is one of my favorite cafes!
I live about half an hour away but drive all the way here with my kids often because their drinks and desserts are unique. They have the best einspanners(many fun varieties), ades, and small bites. My favorites are the grapefruit slush and their mini kimbap and egg sandwiches. They also sell bottled strawberry and chocolate milk along with black tea milk and coffee milk-all so delicious. They have parking in front and back, and spacious areas to sit inside. Bathroom is also big and clean! Go and check them out!

Overpriced and not worth it. To make things worse, probably the rudest business over I’ve ever encountered. My first negative review ever

This place? Absolute winner. My kids are obsessed with the Daejibar(?) Einspanner (can you blame them?) and I’m loyal to the Black Sesame Einspanner it’s just too good to cheat on.
The Grapefruit Slush is like a cold slap of summer freshness (in the best possible way) and the Grapefruit Honey Black Iced Tea? It’s got that chewy thing going on that somehow makes drinking feel like a mini adventure.
The staff? Super friendly.
And the owner? Just as nice. Honestly, there’s zero excuse not to drop by.it’s the perfect summer hideout for cooling off with the kids.
Oh, and pro tip: don’t forget to grab a bottle of strawberry milk on your way out and stash it in the fridge at home. Future you will thank you! 🍓🥛

I usually rely on Google reviews to write positive feedback and rarely take the time to write negative ones. However, this experience truly deserves a negative review because I have never felt so disrespected at a business.

Like other reviewers have mentioned, the owner or manager is incredibly rude. I’ve been to this café twice, and both times I experienced the same disrespectful and dismissive attitude. I also felt discriminated against, which is deeply upsetting.

During my second visit — when the café was completely empty — I answered a phone call in Spanish. The owner told me to lower my voice, even though I wasn’t speaking loudly and there were no other customers around. There’s no sign saying the café is a quiet space, and even if it were, her tone and approach were unnecessarily harsh and unkind.

Judging by the way she responds defensively to other negative reviews, I wouldn’t be surprised if she replies to this one trying to justify her behavior. But I stand by my experience — this is not how customers should be treated.

This place is a local hidden gem. There isn’t shortage of mega bakeries and Korean cafes in Fort Lee and Palisades Park. But to me, this place stands out.

It looks like the owner of this cafe put his/her soul and spirit into everything in the cafe. From little interior props to utensils to home made madeleines. All beverages and the food, even boiled eggs and spicy kimbop, were super tasty. And the best : this place is relatively quiet. I’ve been longing for a cafe like this for a long time. I will be a frequent visitor.

This place doesn't allow you to talk on the phone, they're racist, and they threw away my takeout food. 😡😡😡

You didn’t even realize that it wasn’t the person who was there in your store and although I noticed that you weren’t respectful at all with my partner because I could hear the people around, I don’t understand why when I turned down the sound on the phone if we weren’t even talking constantly, but even so I’m still upset how a person talks about respect if in the end you were very rude, I’m not interested in going back to a place like that to pick up orders either, from what I see you have reviews for the same thing👍 I know it’s not the first time something like this happens

They use organic milk and eggs. Also top grade coffee beans.
