Quality has gone downhill a big time. It’s not authentic Korean food anymore.
We ordered pork feet, mixed noodles, spicy rice cakes and chicken soup(forgot the name). The overall experience is great! The lady is nice and always has smiles. Must try the pork feet! It’s really good with soju?
best korean food Ive ever had in U.S
We ordered the stews- Spicy Pollack Stew and Galbi Stew- both are good. The galbi was really tender and the soup flavours are great. Big portions too. Enjoyed all the side dishes too, esp the fish cakes, squid and seaweed. Highly recommend!
Great secret spot, good Korean food
NJ recently banned plastic bags even for takeouts. A huge thank you to this restaurant for being so thoughtful and going the extra mile by making takeouts easier with this sturdy bag. It must have added a cost to your bottom line, but I love it that you're thinking about the customers! Oh and the spicy pork (제육볶음) was really good!
Came in on Saturday afternoon and restaurant was pretty much empty. The servers are attentive and quickly sat us down to a table. The table was nicely clean, absent of stickiness that is familiar at other restaurants and the menus were clean as well. We ordered two Combo menu items, Kimchi Stew + Tteokgalbi and Soondubu + Grilled Mackerel. As per usual, the meal was prefaced with a variety of ban-chan's, this day's including cucumber kimchi (my fav <3), fishcakes, mini anchovies, cabbage salad, kimchi, and even a small kimchi pancake, which was a pleasant surprise. The main dishes took approx. 20 minutes to come out which was perfect as we finished up our side dishes. Each meal came with complimentary rice and perfectly portioned. The Kimchi Stew is a bit lacking in umami flavor but still very enjoyable. The Soondubu was packed full of pork and tofu, yum! The Grill Mackerel was not very fishy and crispy on the outside. The Tteokgalbi was sizzling hot and plentiful.Considering the amount of food we received and the amount we paid, I would definitely say I would come back for lunch or dinner. Overall, very good, fast and attentive service and a bang for your buck!
