I don't think I'll ever go again

I've been a regular for a long time, but it's obvious that the number of customers is decreasing, whether it's due to the difficult economy or some other reason, which makes me feel very sad. It's my favorite restaurant, and even though I don't go to other restaurants, I always go here. I took it there once and had company dinners here whenever possible, but I think this will be my last visit.

The entire menu has changed, but it just doesn't taste very good. The portions have decreased and the prices have risen, which is understandable as it is natural in today's situation, but... I ate pork belly neck, but the meat became very tough after being grilled in a frying pan for a long time and over time? Just this feeling... Every time I go here, I go to eat the excellent quality smoked pork belly that I can't get at home... but the same meat is of such poor quality... the meat is tough... it's so soggy, the sour kimchi and the strange gooey texture. The plate is soggy with soggy water that comes from smelly green onions... I don't know anything else, but the meat is really tasteless anyway.

And another reason why I liked Boss was the friendly service that made me happy every time I went. The Korean lady server… If you say that from behind, the customers will hear and see everything. I guess it's your first time working, but something happened and you're lost because you're not good at something. I kept calling to ask questions, but we made eye contact and kept pretending not to know when I called, so I asked another employee to help me, and only then did you come running from behind and say that. Even though the staff changed, the service was always good, so I thought they really took good care of the staff... but for the first time, I felt really bad because of the staff.

I never imagined that the day would come when I would leave a bad review for the boss of my favorite restaurant. It's a shame. I'm sure there will be many people like me.

The quantity is very large and generous compared to other restaurants. If you do business like this, what is left?

Last week, I met up with some friends for the first time in a while and we went to Domok because it's know for delicious korean bqq. however, the restaurant was unbearably hot, making difficult to enjoy the meal. even though eating out these days requires a second thought, I probably won't return to Domok. the food was tasty, but there was a slight smell of cigarettes coming from the lady working there. its something to be mindful of. However, the younger staff member was always smiling and spoke kindly, which was appreciated.

The bbq comes with coked from the kitchen.
They put so many random stuff that we don’t even eat. (Potato, chives)
Too little meat. I wish they reduce random stuff and add more mush rooms.
They gave us 3 sauces that they were sitting on room temperature for a while. We didn’t even touch it because we don’t want to get food poisoning.

Overall, not satisfied with their menu. Feels bad to waste food.

Maybe it looks nice on photo that plate is full of food. But we don’t eat certain stuff and they didn’t mentioned it on the menu.

I prefer their previous menu

Good food for a good price. Bulgogi is not too sweet which is good. A lot of Koreans eating so it is close to authentic.

I went to eat bbq last Saturday, and the remodeling made the atmosphere different, which was nice. The meat was also grilled in the kitchen, so I could eat it right away, which was great. The young server who served us with a bright smile was very nice, but the other female server seemed upset.Additionally, because of the server who provided good service, I want to come back again, so I want to give a high rating!!

The meat and vegetables were all cooked as shown in the photo, so I enjoyed it very comfortably.I think I will visit here every time I go to New Jersey~~!!

Great service and good food!! I went here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. All of the food is seasoned well. Their steamed egg is worth the hype and their dakgalbi is really good. Make sure to ask for the rice to be made at the end! Service is friendly and professional. I personally like it more than the other dakgalbi place on broad ave as that is severely short staffed and there's often a wait. Can't wait to return to Dumok and try their BBQ next!

I love dumok! I’ve been here a couple of times this year and I was always able to get seated right away with no issues. It’s located on the second floor but it’s very easy to find. The bathrooms are also spacious and clean.Having tried both their dakgalbi and kbbq, I think the dakgalbi is the much better option. The kbbq is nothing special, but you get a lot of sides and they will also add kimchi and mushrooms and stuff. The dakgalbi is always delicious and I recommend bringing at least 2 people with you because the serving size for 2 people is still a lot of food. Their rice balls are also yummy!

This restaurant doesn't even deserve 1 star. I ordered chicken ribs, but the meat was purple in color as if it was old, and the seasoning had an average taste with no special features. The worst thing is the service. Since I visited at 2 PM, a little after meal time, there were no customers and there was no one saying "welcome", so I thought it was break time. When I asked if I wanted to eat, the middle-aged woman, probably the employee on her cell phone or the owner, just pointed with her finger instead of answering. . When I asked again, he said, “Sit over there.” After that, he didn’t even give me proper instructions. When the food came out, they just brought it to me and put it down without saying anything, such as saying, “Enjoy it,” or “It’s all cooked on fire, so eat it when the cheese melts,” or anything like that. For a moment, I wonder if I'm in a bad mood because I shouldn't have come. And then he didn't come back until he left the restaurant. If you're having a hard time and need a break, call it break time and don't take it, but both of you will end up feeling bad. The check was brought to me by another employee, the food, service, and atmosphere were terrible, I will never go again.

If you're in the mood for a very heavy Korean meal, then head here. They've got BBQ chicken, pork, beef, etc. and you can ladle cheese on top. That's all I've got. Better get your sweatpants ready.
