I went to eat bbq last Saturday, and the remodeling made the atmosphere different, which was nice. The meat was also grilled in the kitchen, so I could eat it right away, which was great. The young server who served us with a bright smile was very nice, but the other female server seemed upset.Additionally, because of the server who provided good service, I want to come back again, so I want to give a high rating!!

The meat and vegetables were all cooked as shown in the photo, so I enjoyed it very comfortably.I think I will visit here every time I go to New Jersey~~!!

Great service and good food!! I went here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. All of the food is seasoned well. Their steamed egg is worth the hype and their dakgalbi is really good. Make sure to ask for the rice to be made at the end! Service is friendly and professional. I personally like it more than the other dakgalbi place on broad ave as that is severely short staffed and there's often a wait. Can't wait to return to Dumok and try their BBQ next!

I love dumok! I’ve been here a couple of times this year and I was always able to get seated right away with no issues. It’s located on the second floor but it’s very easy to find. The bathrooms are also spacious and clean.Having tried both their dakgalbi and kbbq, I think the dakgalbi is the much better option. The kbbq is nothing special, but you get a lot of sides and they will also add kimchi and mushrooms and stuff. The dakgalbi is always delicious and I recommend bringing at least 2 people with you because the serving size for 2 people is still a lot of food. Their rice balls are also yummy!

This restaurant doesn't even deserve 1 star. I ordered chicken ribs, but the meat was purple in color as if it was old, and the seasoning had an average taste with no special features. The worst thing is the service. Since I visited at 2 PM, a little after meal time, there were no customers and there was no one saying "welcome", so I thought it was break time. When I asked if I wanted to eat, the middle-aged woman, probably the employee on her cell phone or the owner, just pointed with her finger instead of answering. . When I asked again, he said, “Sit over there.” After that, he didn’t even give me proper instructions. When the food came out, they just brought it to me and put it down without saying anything, such as saying, “Enjoy it,” or “It’s all cooked on fire, so eat it when the cheese melts,” or anything like that. For a moment, I wonder if I'm in a bad mood because I shouldn't have come. And then he didn't come back until he left the restaurant. If you're having a hard time and need a break, call it break time and don't take it, but both of you will end up feeling bad. The check was brought to me by another employee, the food, service, and atmosphere were terrible, I will never go again.

If you're in the mood for a very heavy Korean meal, then head here. They've got BBQ chicken, pork, beef, etc. and you can ladle cheese on top. That's all I've got. Better get your sweatpants ready.

Wanted to go twice before writing a review! I ordered the same dish both times - they are known for their Dakgalbi, our spicy marinated chicken with cabbage, onion, and some Korean sweet potato. You can choose your portion level (among 4 people, 2 servings was still a very large amount), spice level, and any additional toppings - we added the rice cakes and cheese. The 'Spicy' level definitely gave some heat but the sweetness of the sweet potato pieces and cheese (you can also opt for a 'Cheese Fondue'), and our side order of the Rice Balls (rice with mayonnaise, pickled radish, and seaweed) paired nicely. The menu is very straight forward - either Dakgalbi or cuts of different BBQ meat. You can also get some other meals to complement like cold noodles or more "lighter" ones like the Rice Balls or Seafood Pancake. Their lunch menu is more diverse, with individual meals rather than dishes to share like barbecue. The space is quite large so it may be difficult to find at first, but there's two entrances - either from the outside on Henry Ave (well lit inside and go up the stairs) or the entrance from the parking garage.

The server promptly brought us exactly what we needed, and the chicken ribs were for 2 people, which felt like 3 servings. I felt like I had two meals just with the addition of cheese, fried shrimp, and udon noodles.Chicken ribs, which you can add as much fries as you like and sprinkled with savory cheese, were the perfect dinner.Next time, I definitely have to come and try the ribs and meat set!

I'm disappointed in Nakgobsae~ The tripe was probably not washed well and tasted bitter, the octopus was hard, and I only ate shrimp and soup... The price is very expensive. And it's very hot in the store every time I go.

Went to NJ for a shirt trip. Wanted to drop by at this place to try korean food and it was a bomb. It took us couple of minutes before we were seated. The meats are fresh, beef pork, seafood. The side dishes are awesome. Would comeback to try another dish.

Best in the USA only second to Busan KR . Most delicious flavors... no chicken so.i deducted 1 point. Was disappointed in that because that is what we wanted instead of what we settled for. The beef was awesome.
