This place is my go-to spot for eel in NJ!
They grill it for you, so there’s no lingering smell, and the homemade seaweed soup and side dishes are all delicious.
The service is so friendly, and I leave satisfied every time!😇

To be honest, the food is overrated, and sadly, I don't think I would go again. The eel was dry and not in quality.

The good thing was that the price was relatively low and the owner lady was very nice.

Overall a nice little place for good Korean style bbq eel! I recommend jjol myun as well. In addition, all the side dishes are pretty good . The owner is kind and very honest. Honesty is something I can rarely see from restaurant owners especially in
K-Town these days, but she is different!
I appreciate her service and definitely recommend this place.

I clicked by mistake and the asterisk was displayed incorrectly. It's a delicious restaurant, so I go there often to eat. Neat and clean store.

The service is the worst and I don't want to go there. I won't recommend it to anyone else.

Loved sea eel when they located at 21 golf rage. They used live eels which getting bigger when cook but getting smaller from frozen one. But recently I ordered take out sea eels 4 orders paid around $150 but that was from frozen. Disappointed.

Salted sea eel was fire. Other stuff kinda skippable. But would go back for that one dish

Good food. Visited here on a rainy weekend (perfect day for 파전!) so it wasn't as crowded as expected. There's only 3 tables so you might have to wait on sunnier

A small place to try some eel. It’s basically Korean BBQ but with eel (you wrap the eel with lettuce). Takes about 20 minutes to cook and you can enjoy some side dishes, which are really good as well. You can tell the eel is fresh. Overall pretty good, but the salted one is a bit dry imho. The one with seasoning is the better choice. There are five tables in total and two in the back. Valet parking in rear or you can use the street parking.

Came in for an early dinner around 4pm on a Saturday. There's literally only 3 tables in there so we had to wait a few mins before being seated. After being seated we were given banchan and barley tea. The banchan was great, fresh, tasty, not too sweet, and seasoned well. The barley tea didn't taste fresh though. Not surprised when there's only 3 tables, they probably aren't making a new brew that often.Food took a little long to come out. We got the combo eel that serves 2 people. The eel is served on a hot plate that has a lit candle underneath to keep your food warm. It's almost too hot actually it scorched one of the eels in the center cause it kept cooking. In the middle is a large bunch of shredded ginger. The eel was awesome. Fresh, seasoned perfectly, and delicious. However I do have to say the portion is small. Probably not gonna fill up 2 adults unless you get some rice. We ordered a bowl of rice to share (it costs $1 which I find to be pretty lame). The rice also didn't seem as fresh, I bet because people aren't buying it that often so it's the same batch that sits all day.Your meal also get served with some light doenjang jjiggae (or maybe miso?). It compliments the eel very well and tastes great.

We had "fresh water eel salted and fresh water eel seasoning" and loved them. We were in town for a few days and tried 3 Korean restaurants, and this was our favorite one. The salted fresh water eel was amazing, melting in our mouth. Please keep in mind that there are only 3-4 dine-in tables, so if possible, I would recommend that you go with the takeout option in case it gets busy.

Vegetarian options: The vegetable kimbap was very delicious. If you're raving about Trader Joe's kimbap, you should try it because it will be far better than the ones from Trader Joe's

Kid-friendliness: The owner was very considerate, giving lukewarm soup and water for my little kids and kid-friendly utensils

I couldn't eat eel, but after trying the salt-grilled eel here, it became my favorite food. In particular, when my friends get sick, I bring them grilled eel. Eel is very good for the body because it is high in protein and good for stamina. Salt grilled food is protein-based and seasoned grilled food is very tasty. In particular, the eel restaurant here grills it very well, making it clean and tasty without any fishy smell. I hope to be able to taste this for a long time. I would also like to thank the owner who is always kind.
