Salted sea eel was fire. Other stuff kinda skippable. But would go back for that one dish

Good food. Visited here on a rainy weekend (perfect day for 파전!) so it wasn't as crowded as expected. There's only 3 tables so you might have to wait on sunnier

A small place to try some eel. It’s basically Korean BBQ but with eel (you wrap the eel with lettuce). Takes about 20 minutes to cook and you can enjoy some side dishes, which are really good as well. You can tell the eel is fresh. Overall pretty good, but the salted one is a bit dry imho. The one with seasoning is the better choice. There are five tables in total and two in the back. Valet parking in rear or you can use the street parking.

Came in for an early dinner around 4pm on a Saturday. There's literally only 3 tables in there so we had to wait a few mins before being seated. After being seated we were given banchan and barley tea. The banchan was great, fresh, tasty, not too sweet, and seasoned well. The barley tea didn't taste fresh though. Not surprised when there's only 3 tables, they probably aren't making a new brew that often.Food took a little long to come out. We got the combo eel that serves 2 people. The eel is served on a hot plate that has a lit candle underneath to keep your food warm. It's almost too hot actually it scorched one of the eels in the center cause it kept cooking. In the middle is a large bunch of shredded ginger. The eel was awesome. Fresh, seasoned perfectly, and delicious. However I do have to say the portion is small. Probably not gonna fill up 2 adults unless you get some rice. We ordered a bowl of rice to share (it costs $1 which I find to be pretty lame). The rice also didn't seem as fresh, I bet because people aren't buying it that often so it's the same batch that sits all day.Your meal also get served with some light doenjang jjiggae (or maybe miso?). It compliments the eel very well and tastes great.

We had "fresh water eel salted and fresh water eel seasoning" and loved them. We were in town for a few days and tried 3 Korean restaurants, and this was our favorite one. The salted fresh water eel was amazing, melting in our mouth. Please keep in mind that there are only 3-4 dine-in tables, so if possible, I would recommend that you go with the takeout option in case it gets busy.Vegetarian options: The vegetable kimbap was very delicious. If you're raving about Trader Joe's kimbap, you should try it because it will be far better than the ones from Trader Joe'sKid-friendliness: The owner was very considerate, giving lukewarm soup and water for my little kids and kid-friendly utensils

I couldn't eat eel, but after trying the salt-grilled eel here, it became my favorite food. In particular, when my friends get sick, I bring them grilled eel. Eel is very good for the body because it is high in protein and good for stamina. Salt grilled food is protein-based and seasoned grilled food is very tasty. In particular, the eel restaurant here grills it very well, making it clean and tasty without any fishy smell. I hope to be able to taste this for a long time. I would also like to thank the owner who is always kind.

I used this place a lot, and the food is still good, but the portion of eel is way too less than before. And the quality of eel is definitely different than the other day.

Best eel ive had in this area. Super fresh and no hiding behind sauces or seasoning. Salted grilled eel was my favorite. They are very generous with the amount of side dishes they give along with a scallion pancake to start, with seaweed soup. Portion size for the eel ran small as I got the 3 serving combo with salted grilled eel and marinated eel and easily finished between 2 people. Overall very happy with the flavors and quality of eel.

It’s the busiest restaurant on Broad avenue. Supposedly the wait is only 25 minutes. I have not seen anyone leave anytime yet. It’s really busy in here. We were given a claim check, 115. Don’t lose your ticket. Took us about 30 minutes to get seated. They use coals for the BBQ here. The wait staff gave headsets to communicate to each other. It’s mayhem in here. I hope the food is good. We ordered one order of chicken breast for BBQ, no spicy soft tofu stew with vegetable, since there is no way to add rice cake or kimchi. :/ I ordered a veggie dolsot bibimbap. We are finally seated by 6:45pm or so. At the back and by the bathroom doors, that’s so fantastic. Small portion of spicy BBQ chicken for $31. Worth about $18-$19 worth of chicken. We pay $19 for the same size spicy chicken dish at home. Our total bill was 54.36. The banchans: mushrooms, spicy dried squid, spicy fish cake, bean sprouts, radish, parsley, kimchi; spicy onion salad too. Didn’t love any of the banchans much. The miso soup is cold and unbelievably watery and bland. We had to ask for hot tea, since we didn’t get any water or anything to drink at all. Also had to ask for the steamed egg that comes with the BBQ chicken and the lettuce as well. They gave these items to all other tables with BBQ items ordered. Our chicken was cooked in the kitchen since we only had Jen order of chicken. The dolsot was okay, the brown veggie was hard and sinewy. It’s better with gochujang and sesame oils
