The mango bingsu had unripe cuts of mango. The tartness did not pair well with shaved ice.

Today was the last time I ever walk in this cafe ever again. My usuals are black coffee or an iced americano (in general), but I decided to go for the Hazelnut latte today and they served the drink with expired or spoiled milk! No, I didn’t drink it all and it was hard to even notice because the hazelnut syrup was masking the taste of the drink. I’m currently paying for the consequences of drinking it, but how could an establishment serve something rotten or expired.. especially when their specialty are the bungalow! Let this be a warning to you!

I come across this place through Yelp and the presentation of the bingsu looks really pretty there. However, it looks like they don't do that pretty presentation anymore. It's kinda expensive but the portion is huge; like this 'small' size can feed 3-4 people. This one has mango, cheesecake bites, mochi, and condensed milk. The cheesecake bites can feel a bit too much after a couple bites.

The mango bingsoo was good, but there was no air conditioning, and the atmosphere felt like the only café in a remote countryside where my farmer grandma lives—completely lacking in vibe.

I ordered a sandwich and the bulgogi teriyaki. The sandwich was worse than something I could make at home, and even the bread was tough—they used the dry end pieces. The bulgogi had way too much pepper, and the seasoning was overly salty. The rice wasn’t fresh either—it tasted like it had just been microwaved. Even setting the quality aside, the prices weren’t cheap. At that price point, I would expect a similar level of quality to other nearby cafés, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

Love the bingsoo. Get the large one to share. Not many workers so takes a while to get food. But overall a nice coffee and dessert place.

Red bean to shaved ice ratio is insane lol My friends and I thought it's a a total scam but you might like it if you want lots of shaved ice

We had a great time at Miel! Tried the Bingsuu and the egg sandwich, and both were amazing. The ice in Bingsuu is really something special, super soft, and perfect for any ice cream lover. It's definitely a must-try if you're a fan of frozen treats! The staff working there were also really cool and friendly, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by!

The iced Americano coffee is the best I've tasted in NJ/NYC area. We usually make our own espresso with expensive machines at home, but their coffee is on par with our coffee
