Shabu Ro is easily one of the best hot pot experiences I’ve had. The quality of the meat is excellent — fresh, tender, and clearly premium — and the broth options are flavorful without being overwhelming. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared, from the vegetables to the dipping sauces. The atmosphere is modern, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed meal where you can take your time. The staff is attentive and helpful, especially if it’s your first time doing hot pot. It’s the kind of place that feels both fun and comforting. If you enjoy hot pot or want to try something interactive and high-quality, Shabu Ro is absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Clean environment. No ick. I felt comfortable selecting my own food from the shelves. Enough soup bases to give pause - but a big hint, it's what you cook in your pot that makes a difference. Great selection of veggies, assorted seafood and meatballs, tofu in about 8 forms, and 3 chaffing trays of hot foods. Great for occasional vegans and fulltime carnivores. If that's not enough, then add extra meats and seafood. Finally, a huge selection of sauces to make it yours. And.... there is soft serve ice cream to completely fill any room left in your tummy.
