This is not the sonjjajang I remember from years back location changed and the food changed as well. Ordered jjajangmyun and it was just bland and almost might I say watery sauce? Wouldn't go back.

This place has gone really bad. Ordered jajang myun, jampong, and taengseuk (sweet and sour pork). Every one of them tasted too sweet and BLAND. It wasn’t like this before. I won’t be returning.

This is the most delicious (seafood) jjajangmyun I've had in more years than I care to count!!! My new fave place for this.

ok.. i remember this place very fondly during my days when i lived in jersey.. i dunno why but there's just something about what koreans do to chinese food that I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF!! i came here with my friend and was just mind blown.. something so simple but soo comforting about jah jya myun .. i love all things noodle.. and they just do it so right.. but what was the kicker are the fried dumplings... omgggg.. just orgasmic.. also.. is it just me or did watching the guy in the window beating the flour kinda hypnotizing?

Restaurant location has changed to across the street. In reality, it seems the restaurant name has just been sold to the place across the street. The food had to be paid for first, and we soon saw why - it was the worst korean style Chinese food in 30 years. Avoid.

The place is kinda small. It's a little different, but in a good way. I would definitely go back. The food was great.

I used to order lunch from here and it was the best...I iterate was...this was about two years ago. I remembered this place and ordered today and the quality has diminished to zero...I ordered the fire seafood noodles in brown sauce and received store bought noodles, with about one and a half onions two shrimp and three squid pieces. The brown sauce was so watered down that it had consistency of water. They used to make their own noodles and everything was impeccable. I won't be going back and predict it will go out of business soon if this is how they conduct business.

Ever since they moved and merged with another restaurant, the quality went down a lot. It's no longer hand pulled noodles. You used to hear the guy banging the noodles on the table and see him stretch it out. No sound at all. Got our order and confirmed it, all the noodles are the same uniform shape that's clearly from a machine, not hand pulled anymore. Even the tangsooyook isn't the same either. Sorry, hate to do it to you guys but one major thing you never change in a business is the quality what made who you are. We'll be looking for a new hand pulled Jjajamyung place

It is authentic Korean-Chinese food! I never regret going here!

They have by far the best black bean noodles (Jajangmyeon) and they offer it in a spicy variety and a reg, I tried both and they were both so good! I would get the reg cus the spicy one starts to get to you after a few bites hahah it's so tasty but I wanna be able to eat it all and with the spicy one I had to save some for later! I would def go there again and I can't to try more of their menu!

My fave place for tangsooyook in bergen county. So light & crispy... soooo good Jjm&jjamppong are usually pretty good... Butttttt they NEVER PICK UP THEIR DAMN PHONE. I'm not tryna drive my butt to pal park only to be disappointed for a stupid long wait or even worse... disappointed because they arent open??? They have been like this for years.. Can't get a hold of them... for that they lose a star... For those who haven't been, it's a charming little jjajangmyun place in palisades park... pre covid you could sit and eat & occasionally be startled by the men making fresh noodles. Why you ask? Because the method on how they stretch the noodles is rather interesting... just youtube it. Anywhoos. If y'all havent yet pleaaase try their tangsooyook & if you're a spice fanatic like me get their buljjajang

Worst jjajang in the area. Ordered to go. Person taking order was strange...kept asking how many of each item I wanted and sounded annoyed. Ordered jjajang and jjambong. Contemplated getting ttangsuyook. Thankful I didn't because the food was terrible. Jjambong looked dull and seafood tasted old. Noodles on both were very chewy and doughy. Noodles tasted like flour. Not pleasant. The kkakduggi was soggy and tasted overly fermented, indication that it was very old. Trashed more than half the meal. Don't understand how anyone can order from here. Seeing that their chopsticks were also used at Notip across the street, I don't think I'll ever want to try that place either.

Noodle texture was stiff and doughy. It was really bad. Sauce and broth looked and tasted old - the ingredients were almost unrecognizable. Plus, the person on the phone was condescending. Would not recommend here. There's so many options in the area that are far better.

I feel so bad about giving one star, because the food is really good. But I'm only doing this, because the guy on the phone repeatedly hung up on me, like the reviewer before. I had to get my father to order in perfect Korean for the receptionist to be cooperative. Please reprimand him, or replace him with someone who does not bring shame to a small business. Only then will I change back to 5 stars. If he's the owner.. well dang then I'm out of ideas lol
