My family love the charcoal BBQ at this restaurant. The service is low key and efficient and the best part is that the meats they serve is very high quality.
Not sure how this place isn’t top 3 Korean bbq in Bergen county. Wood charcoal, incredible marinated flavor for the boneless short rib. The prime beef options are a must. Highly recommend.
Amazing experience here at SB KBBQ. The food is excellent and it has a bunch of meats such as duck and seafood! We went with combo B and it was so good! Such a generous amount of food. We ordered the spicy rice cake as well as the kimchi fried rice! The charcoal made the food so tasty and the staff took amazing care of us. Would highly recommend!
The staff was amazing. They recommended wonderful meats and drinks for our group to try. The meats were also seasoned to perfection and the charcoal makes a huge difference.
the best kbbq around, you can’t beat hot coals
The coals make this place incredible and different!

Today, around 6 o'clock, I visited with my mother and 4 people. There were two tables. We ordered 2 servings of snowflake meat and 2 servings of seasoned ribs. They said they would grill the snowflake meat first, but my husband asked if this was for 2 people. What?? He asked me if I had ordered for 2 people, and after checking, he said it was for 1 person and brought an additional serving, but the meat smelled... My mom said she couldn't eat it because of the smell, so she said she must be sensitive to smells... The extra meat came. It was okay, but I passed on it anyway, but I ordered seasoned ribs and they grilled them with pork ribs on top. When I asked if these were seasoned ribs, they asked me if they were made with pork. I was really dumbfounded... I went because it was my mom's birthday, and I felt really bad after spending 300 dollars. Just in case, you guys pay the bill too. Check and check the food often. It's not that busy, but the orders are messed up... It seems like only foreigners are there. I won't go again, but I'm going to tell people around me to never go here!

The food was reasonable in taste, price, and quantity but the service was some of the worst I've had in the area.
First off, we got charged an extra $5.50 for 2 canned soda (according to Google translate) that we didn't buy. The receipt was in korean so I figured that the extra charge was a table fee or similar and paid it, but was surprised when I ran it through google translate on the way home.
Secondly, our experience ordering was a total mess. We don't speak Korean and were assigned a server who didn't speak any English. This is usually fine and we're typically able to figure things out but the menu had some issues which made the situation difficult.
First off, several of the drinks on their drinks menu weren't available. When we tried to order one of them our server seemed really confused and walked away. We thought she went to check with someone but she ended up cooking meat for another table and never came back. We didn't finish ordering until a different server came by and noticed that we hadn't ordered yet.
Secondly, we ordered only 1 portion of meat and, after some struggle, were able to figure out that they only cook meat at your table if you order at least 2 portions. They offered to cook the meat in the kitchen if we only wanted 1. This is fairly typical so we happily asked for the meat to be cooked in the kitchen.
Problem is that when the meat came out it was clearly stir fried with some sauce and not barbequed. I found this pretty unusual as other KBBQ places usually grill the meat in the kitchen. I asked the manager (who does speak english) and was told that because we ordered thin sliced bulgolgi it's always stir fired with a wet sauce. If that's the case then they really need to remove it from the barbeque section of their menu...
Thirdly, we ordered a vege bibimbap but they gave us a meat one which is $10 more.
The manager was nice enough to let us switch to a different (more expensive) meat that is actually barbequed in the kitchen, but honestly this whole episode was very annoying. I wish the original server would've just found someone who speaks English to take our order instead of hoping for the best and getting a bunch of things wrong in the process.

It's been a really long time since I visited. It's been a few years since I came here when my son was in my womb, and as I remember(?) from back then, my son really enjoyed it and my wife and I had a happy dinner.
The managers, servers, and even the owner were very kind and made me feel like I was being treated with respect.
I hope that you will continue to thrive and be able to eat delicious, high-quality food for a long time ?
Absolute family friendly environment. Although this place is very popular and can get really crowded, the staff somehow manage to get to every table efficiently. Will definitely come back here!

As with most KBBQ, not a lot of thought regarding decor or ambiance but the food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive.
